Okay, so I have been on Metforim for 2 days, 2 pills total and no side effects, does that mean I won't get any, or does it take a little to kick in????? Oh and will this do anything for my IUI on the 25th or is it just too soon???

It wasn't until I was on 3 pills per day that I started getting the GI issues. It REALLY helps to take your pills with a very full stomach. I found that just having food in my stomach didn't help as much as having a very full tummy. It's hard because I dont like to eat that way, but I suffer the next day if I dont do it.

My doc told me it takes 1 month for it to really start working but who really knows.... It's definitely a leg up!

Oh thanks for that update, so I should not be sick until I am on 3 pills a day, that should not be for another 2 weeks...

I hope that is is just working for the IVF then..that will not be until November, so I should be good to go for that.

How are you feeling? I read that you know your Prego, how? I really hope so, I think you are too...

I think it will be in full effect Nov, but unfortunately not for this cycle, but who knows it could help a little. I am on 2/day and I just got diarrhea 2x, and I think it was after being on it for a little while, not immediately. You may never have any side effects- I hope.
