Hi JF, My husband had a low variable count and my doctor told me that unless his sperm count increases dramatically, he would only consider us for IVF. He had put him on meds and his count increased to 11 mio. He wanted a count of 7 mio for IUI.
Everyone is different. You just need one strong guy to gettin there. Probably, it is worth a try compared to IVF cost. Why don't you check what your RE has to say. As for me, I would weigh the cost of both and if there isn't much of difference would directly go for IVF with ICSI.

Yeah I think that this is a waste of our time...oh well...I guess you never know...and I don't have to pay for them, so I guess I will just do it and then do IVF in Oct/Nov again...thanks for responding to my post.
Good luck to you guys!!! If this one doesn't work we will have to look into donor IUIs...
