Thank you so so much for sharing your experience and for your advice. My E2 levels are rising slowly they were 360 yesterday and my follicles were all between 12 and 15. Next u/s is scheduled for tomorrow, fingers crossed that everything keeps going in the right direction. ER currently set for Monday.
How are things progressing for you?
Katie

Kate,

You're welcome. Those sound like great numbers to me. Pretty much in line with what I had. If you don't mind my asking how old are you? There has obviously been some concern for me because I'm 42. While I know others have been getting lots of eggs (18 to 30) I am so thrilled to have 12. (Went up a couple from yesterday). Also my E2 yesterday was up to 1268 which my RE said was perfect. I'm waiting to hear what E2 is today, but because of the size of my follicles I already have instructions to trigger tonight. I will be retrieving my 12 beautiful follies on Sunday (along with a few smaller ones that haven't quite come up to snuff yet).

Good luck on your ER (Monday right?) I'll slip a prayer or two in for you when I'm making my daily requests for me?

I've had lower E2 issues and lower egg production too. I think it is a combo of a bum ovary from a dermoid cyst operation at 17. And the other one has endo cysts in it now. I have endo stage IV. I am 34. But one of the biggest factors also contributing is that i was a big smoker from age 17 - 33. I quit 1.5 years ago and my RE actually shook his finger at me when I told him I smoked before. He said, You aged your ovaries even more! As my mom says, "Doesn't matter how you got there. What are you going to do about it now!"

Good luck girls at your ERs. I ended up with 5 fertilized embryos and i was thrilled. Even if someone else has 30 eggs, I don't think they want 30 kids so all you need are enough to make your family dreams a reality. Don't compare to anyone ever. Never helps.

Keep up the good work and get those eggs matured so we can see those embies!!!!

I am 34 with unexplained infertility. Normal FSH, clear HSG etc. The RE just can't explain why I've not become pregnant or why I've been such a poor responder to stims. (I only had 3 ANFs at the beginning of the cycle). I am hoping that when they go ahead and do the ER that my egg quality will be ok. Seriously praying that they will be able to fertilize 4 of the 6 follicles so that we can implant 2 embryos...
Had another u/s today, follicles growing although my ER thinks I may need an extra day on stims before triggering. E2 levels finally at a more reasonable level (936 today) which isn't bad for 6 follicles I guess. Looks like ER will not be until Tuesday.
Please let us know how Sunday goes for you. Will be that all goes well. Good luck
Katie

Thanks for the advice Josee. I try not to get too hung up on the numbers. I know I have issues and I know that I really don't need 20+ eggs. Like I said I'm thrilled that there are 12 (12 has always been my lucky number). I just wanted enought o feel like I had a good chance of getting some to fertilize.

Katie -- Sounds like your numbers and follies are moving right along. It's so hard for them to actually predict when ER and ET is going to be. Stimming usually lasts between 7 to 12 days, so I was prepared to wait for ER until Monday or Tuesday. I will be that you continue to do well.

When I get back Sunday afternoon, I will try to log on and give an update.
