TMI Question..Yeast Infection???
Allright girls..help me out here
 I am almost 7 weeks pregnant and I think I have a Yeast infection! I have never had one before, but looked up my symptoms and it looks like that's what it is  Has anyone else had one before? I know you aren't supposed to take the oral meds for it while pregnant, but I read it is ok to take the cream, anyone else have an opinion? Would really like to know and get it over with!Thanks!

U/S - Heartbeat seen. 8/25- 7w2d U/S - 130 HBM10/9 - 13w5d Doppler 140 BPM and measuring 15 wks 11/6 - 17w5d - Doppler 156 BPM

My SIL had it at 5wks, and she used a 'natural' yoghurt remedy.
I think the creams should be ok, but I would consult the doc or pharmacist first.

My SIL did too. Contact your ob/gyn. She used a cream I think.

Our perinatalogist said to use monistat 3 or 5 day, not the one day dose, and if it doesn't clear up, they would prescribe a low dose (150mg) of diflucan if I got a yeast infection from the antibiotics they gave me when Ethan's water broke at 19 weeks.

My friend has some kind of infection..not sure whether it was yeast or urine infection but her doctor gave me some pills.
I would recommend you calling your doctor. Have a happy pregnancy.

Better to consult your doc before using any type of med. Even ointments can be harmful. Good luck!!

 ME: 32 DH: 37 Married since eight years. Unexplained infertility... One doxy baby: Beetle  Three IUIs in 2007 - BFN IVF (ICSI) in June. First Beta - 11th July - 72.38 Second Beta - 220.30 2nd u/s - 4th Aug - Saw my angel's heartbeat 7w4d160bpm 3rd emerg. u/s - 24th Aug - Saw the baby dancing 139bpm. Low lying placenta diagnosed. 4th u/s - 8th Oct - Placenta moved up. 3D and Anomaly scan - 23rd Oct - Everything measures perfect. Baby Hb: 148bpm. Cervical cerclage - 2nd Nov - Successful. if you've never had one before, you're supposed to check w/ your dr. But i get them frequently and have been told monistat 3 or 5 is fine. I also try to eat lots of yogurt and drink lots of cranberry juice to minimize infections. they're not fun. hang in there!

Suppression phase of IVF cycle
Hello Everyone
I am new to the forum. I have a question and hope someone can assist me. I just started the suppression phase of my 1st IVF cycle. I have been taking BCP (active pills only) for 30 days now. I have been spotting since 9/15, day 17 of taking bcp. However, yesterday and today increase bleeding with tissue. Is this normal? Does this mean I am not suppressing and having a regular period?

 64deltaah!It sounds like  is overriding the BCP - do you know if this is a low or high dose BCP? have you taken BCP's in the past? I would call your RE and find out what they want to do.
