MAN that scared the crap out of me..
My question is.. by signing the consents will that mean I I'm offically In??

Wow, a bunch more new BFPs!!! Congrats!!!Lua- holy smokes that's a lot of eggs!Melanee- congrats on the two-ferWe're staying in Clear Lake for the next two nights since we'll have to be at the office so early. We also found out within the past day that we will be owing quite a lot of money for my husband's tese procedures. Perhaps it has something to do with the hormones, but I was EXTREMELY mad that nobody told us until now. Has anybody else dealt with this?

Has your dh done to see Dr. Barnes yet? When you visit with him, they let you know how much it is for thier part. Also I asked at the beginning if it was included and they said no. It is so much cheaper than having it done at a hospital though. We had one done in January and it was $8000. With Dr. Shnell's office it is less than $3000.

No jinxing! I asked Kristen at around 1pm yesterday if I should call and she told me to be patient. I am so not patient! I ended up calling anyways. The nurse who called me back wasn't Maryanne. In fact, i can't remember her name, but I didn't know her at all...they will call!

That's great you are still able to be in the study! I have been a patient of Dr. Schnell's at CORM since Dec. 2006 and had my last appt. in Jan. 2008 and they never mentioned the study to me and I meet all the criteria! I found out last week about this study and emailed the clinicaltrials.gov study coordinator at Duramed and she told me ALL enrollment for ALL locations has been closed. Err! I guess your RE office already has you enrolled. I'm still waiting to find the MONEY to start my first IVF cycle! Good Luck and let us know how things turn out!

babywishes 13 - No, it's not for the gel or ring, it was for us girls at CORM on who was going to get Follistim or Gonal-F stims. The odd people (myself) are getting Follistim and the even number ones are getting Gonal-F. I think the ring is completely random.

Molly- You are on your way! I think you and I are on almost the exact same schedule! Yes, we are having to keep a diary but it's not too bad. Mine says...HEADACHES...that's it. LOL.

Jenifer - Don't worry...with all those positive HPTs we know you are ! Remember, there were a LOT of people going through their retrievals and transfers this week so they are probably backed up right now making all of those phone calls.

Rose - PM Janice on the TESE thing, she had to pay out of pocket too for that. She would know the best out of all of us I think.

Kari - Those are implantation cramps hon! Melanee had the same thing happen...remember me and my sixth sense!!

Janice - My headaches are still here. At least I'm off work for the rest of the week and dealing with them...of course I'm out of sick leave so that part stinks. I'll actually be ready to move onto Lupron and get off these dang BCPs.

Well if it makes you feel any better they didn't open the trial until Feb?? Did you ask Maryanne at CORM specificially if they were full?? I know they were getting close last month so they may be, just wasn't sure if you had spoken to Maryanne or not.

Well, I left a message for Maryanne to call me about something else so I'll ask her if the study is closed or not when she calls. I would imagine it probably is in Houston because she mentioned it would be closed soon a month ago. But I'm not sure about other study locations like Dallas or Austin. If you are willing to travel, you could try the Dallas or Austin clinics to see if they are still accepting patients.

Thanks. I'm just upset that they didn't say anything until I called them and asked. They wanted payment in full by tomorrow at 5:00am. Also, our insurance covers this procedure, but we're being told they won't bill bc of the trial. After everything is said and done, this is going to cost us about the same or more than our first IVF.
