I'm unfortunately not in the study, but my husband has to have a PESA procedure by Dr. Barnes at CORM. He told me his price was 1700, but CORM's contract says Dr. Barnes price is 1000. Plus CORM's fee for the PESA procedure was 1000. Hope this helps!

Well Megan - I guess they need to keep you on everything until they are proven otherwise. Also, you may want to ask about the possibility of an ectopic (not to add more worry to you) but I've "heard" that a low beta that jumps around is a sign of that. So you might want to just keep an eye on the number and have it followed up just to rule out an ectopic, ok?? I know it's frustrating, I'm so sorry it can't be a clear cut answer!

Congratulations Jenifer!!! What a great Beta number!!!

Megan: Sorry about the cramping and bleeding Hoping things look better on Friday.

Rose: Wow, that's a LOT of money. I can't believe that they won't bill the insurance....my RE's office billed the insurance for everything prior to the 'study' stuff. After I paid the 3500 to the RE's office they stopped billing though...as everything is supposed to be covered now under that 3500 umbrella payment. I hope you get that worked out....I wouldn't know what to do in that situation

Kristen and Megan: Alright...what's with the insiders information LOL Stop passing notes in class ladies!!! LOL

Uggg, I feel so bad.....those darn BCP's. I've thrown up twice on them, this is CRUD!!! I don't like nausea, these things have GOT to GO!!!! LOL Now I hear that Lupron gives you headaches...well that's not good news LOL

It looks like alot of people are getting pregnant with the ring. I hope I get the ring then. I'm starting some new pre-natals I heard about that are chewable today. I'm horrible at taking pills and if they're big and taste nasty then forget it! I cannot wait to be off these BCP's they make me feel like crap. Anyways I have a question about the stims... Are they shots you also give yourself in the abdomen? I give my husband shots due to him being a diabetic and having kidney failure so I'm not too afraid of shots I have to give to myself, but if he has to give them to me........

Yeah, but she started it!!! LOL.

If it makes you feel any better, I had horrible headaches on the BCPs and none on the Lupron...maybe you'll skate through without any. I was really surprised how well my body handled the Lupron and stims last time.

Kristin- I know your weird sixth sense so it sent chills down my spine. I am not having much cramping today, but will hope for more tonight. Have a relaxing week at home. I am going home in a little bit to a lasagna that our neighbors made for us. They watched our dog for us while we were gone so I should be making them a lasagna. I am staying away from the stores or I will be buying pregnancy test!

Hey Nicole - Yes they are sub-q shots that you can give to yourself in the tummy. My DH was too chicken to give me any shots so I just did them myself. The only IM shot is the trigger and it's not that bad from what I hear. We're lucky in that we don't have to do those PIO shots!!!

It's actually 1000 to dr barnes's office and an additional 1700 for the procedure at CORM. I really think they have loads of cash. 8200 would be rediculous. The whole, "oh by the way, it's due tomorrow" thing is tough.
