Amber - Congratulations on your high test numbers!!! Do you only have to go to Webster to do the ER & ET? Do you do everything else in Beaumont? I will drive to the end of the earth to be a part of this study! I can afford gas (although it is getting high) but it is still not $14,000!!!

Maribeth: first congratulations....that's great you were able to make it in to a study. Praying that your saline sonogram comes out clean and you're on your way! Melissa: Thanks...the shots wasn't bad I had every intention on letting my husband give it to me but the graduation was over and we were back in the car by 8:05 headed to the party...so I just hurried and did it myself LOL It was just a tiny pinch and itched for about 30 minutes after I gave it...but no side effects yet Shannon: I hope that your headaches go away soon. BCP's just made me nauseous and I spotted for a week or so after I started them. My last one is on Sunday and I have that little bubble marked in the blister pack with a big HAPPY FACE lol. Megan: Thinking of you....

Well, I'm totally at a loss this morning
Hubby just called me from work and said that he is not taking the Doxy pills anymore...he said they make him too sick and he can't be this sick at work. He was fine yesterday, and they aren't effecting me at all (but I've taken pro-biotics for months so maybe that's why?). He finally said he'd take the one at night...but not the AM one!!!! So what should I do? Slip it in his breakfast LOLGosh, you'd think he was the one going hormonal! Like I need this now!!!

Maribeth - CONGRATS on getting in!!
Faith - That's great, I'm glad it was easy. RE: DH and the Doxy...the head of our study said that it was very important for us(women) to take the Doxy, but if DHs couldn't/didn't take it that it wouldn't be the end of the world, we just couldn't tell her about it because then she would have to note it and that would be bad. I hope that makes you feel a little better! I'm wondering what my DH is going to say when it is time for him to take it...."but she said...", I can already hear it now!

Surely the RE can change the antibiotic since the doxy is making him sick. Just call and let your RE know that your dh can't tolerate the doxy and see if they can switch it to something that is easier on his stomach.

Shannon - I'm probably the last person to ask about headaches. LOL. I've been having them so bad since I started the BCPs, and I'm still on them so I don't know how long it takes for them to go away. Some people get headaches from the Lupron shots too so that may be part of it.
Megan - Praying you get some good news today! Rose, Lua, Jean, and Brenda - Any fertilization reports today?? Rose, let us know if you get the ring or the gel! Indie - My DH and I are so screwed up on our doxy, I'm afraid to tell the nurse! Because of my migraines I've been afraid to take anything because I just throw it back up. DH only takes them when I remind him. Ugh... How are all the ladies doing out there today?? Well, Melanee and her DH are here today! Woohoo! They brought me a surprise, Melanee brought her mom! So I get to meet mom too! I feel like a part of their family now...lol! She has an u/s at CORM today so I think I may try to sneak into the room and see the u/s with them . Think they have a room limit?? Hope everyone has a great day! Kristen

I went in for my randomization today and got the gel. I'm cool with it because it isn't PIO. I also got an update on the future babies. Of the 17, 8 have fertilized and 5 more are being watched until tomorrow. They say my first pregnancy test will be the 29th.

Thanks Melissa and Janice. He's so irritating....I told him in the beginning that if he wasn't 100% in to this then we weren't doing it. I hate feeling like I'm holding someone's hand through everything and that is exactly what I feel like I'm doing.
I'll have to work out something....but glad to see that if I can't that taking one at night will probably suffice.

Kristen, I didn't even think of the migraines making you throw stuff up. That is cruddy....maybe it won't make much of a difference? I hate taking antibiotics because they kill all the good bacteria too....makes me worry about killing off good bacteria that might help with the PH...etc. I guess millions of people take them and millions probably forget to...so either way I guess we'll be okay

Kristen, I am doing ok. Just gassy and tired!!! I'm trying to eat more friuts and veggies, but I seem to be wanting Mexian food a lot! Please tell Melanee I said hello and give her a hug for me. How long will they be there? Are they staying with you? I think CORM will let you in the room. Let me know if they give her a pic. I hope you're doing better. See if the office can give you an antibiotic like z-pak that is not as hard on your stomach. Doxy is a broad spectrum antibiotic, but they should be able to give you something else, b/c it is important for us to take.
