Sparky, if you've already had a lot of testing done, then make sure and bring all of your IF medical records. Also bring a copy of your DH's SA results as they will need those. Even though I had most of the testing already done, they repeated the transvaginal U/S, the clamydia/gonorrhea culture, 3 day bw, metabolic panel, HIV/Hepatitis B and C test, and urine screen. They will also need to test your DH for HIV/Hepatitis B and C. Hopefully they can get most of the testing done in the firsy day, but I think they are swamped so they are pushing people's start dates back a least one month. So after this appt you will go in for 3 day bw (unless it coincides with your appt) and then wait until your nest AF to start. I'm glad they called you back!
I have at least 2 more weeks to wait for my next AF so I can start the bcps...

Thanks for the advice. I have a 2 inch file with all of our records, and alot of my tests are within the last 6 months. Hopefully, that will save some time. She did not say that DH needed to be at the appt, but she has to call me back to let me know if some monitoring can be done in Austin.

Well I made it home to Ks at 5:30 a.m. today. I had my hystosonongram and mock transfer yesterday. I was there from 12:45 until 5:00 getting these done. I then got to experience Houston 5:00 traffic in a rain storm. I was to death! Then I hit the snow storm in the Dallas area for about 3 hrs, so needless to say I was glad to pull lin the drive today. I will start my bcp next cycle and go from there. Let me know if you have any questions.

Ok let me see if I can catch up!! I'm so excited that there are so many of you! Maryanne told me that they were accepting like 100 just at CORM alone and I'm guessing that they are drawing it out a little because of scheduling all the transfers. Can't have everyone running in at the same time I guess for their ER. I know it has to be frustrating to have to wait, but all good things come to those who wait?? Right?!?!? I'm praying so!!!

AmyK - Stalk as much as you like. I'm sorry that you missed the age cutoff...but you know what, there may be other clinics accepting your age. I know at CORM they were only allowed 10 people over 35 (and I"m right behind ya girl...I'm 34 about to be 35!)...but maybe another center can get you in?? Just a thought. I'll keep my ears open if I hear anything!

Girlymech - which center are you going to in FL?? I'd love to see all the comparisons between the different areas!

Webb - You poor thing!!! What a week you've had! I was worried about you driving during that weather, it was BAD!!! I'm so glad you made it home safely! The good news is winter is just about over so you shouldn't have to go through that again!!

Tomeka - How are you doing on your Lupron? Only one more week till we start stims!! Woohoo!!

I'll be going to The Fertility Experts in Clearwater FL. Only thing is they are charging $3000.00 total for those who want to volunteer. If for some reason I don't qualify which she doesn't think will happen based on the information I gave her then they will refund all of my money. I even told her about my blocked tubes and she said not a problem. If my DH and I would have had to travel to Houston it basically would have come out to about $3000.00 or more anyway with all the travel expenses, having to board our dogs, vacation time ect. TFE are only a ten minute drive from home Wohoo. So the price is worth it to us.

That's great! It's still cheaper than a regular IVF!!! Keep us updated on how everything goes!!!

This is Mandi (also known as Babydust)....I live in Spring Texas and I received my phone call back today for my first appointment!!! It is going to be on March 13th on Thursday. I was so excited for the quick response. I hope everything goes well at the first visit and we get accepted. This is a wonderful opportunity!!! If I had an HSG done February 17 of 2007 do you think I will need to do another one. And if not....will they start my IVF cycle the same month after I get my 3 day bloodwork done??? Just wondering what you guys think....

Hi I just wanted to check in... I had my HSG toaday and as promised it did not hurt... I am loving my new Dr. ....she gave my a local anesthetic to help and I only had some very minor cramping for like 20 minutes! My uterus looks good and I got my calendar today. I start Lupron next Friday and It looks like ER will be April 3 and ET will be April 8th Giving me a pregnancy test on April 17--- Hubby's Birthday... I sure hope I can give him the best gift ever!

If the Houston Center gets full you can always check with my Center here.... not sure if they are still accepting either but I think they were looking for 100 people too... just know it's an option if anyone needs.

Kristen -- you are so great keeping everyones progress in order.. Thanks for that ...I wish there were some people in the same time frame as me though!

Mandi - Congrats on your appointment next week! I'm not sure about your HSG. From what I hear they want it within the last year, but if it came back ok, they may take it. That's a good question for Maryanne when you see her.

Marcia - Yippee! Good luck with your Lupron and even though you are just getting going, you are only about two weeks behind me and Tomeka! So that's not bad.
