I already had my blood work & labs in January so it seems that if there were any problems they would have already told me. Can you shed some light on this? I scheduled an appt. for Thursday, but it's going to drive me crazy to wait that long!!! This emotional roller coaster is sooo hard!!!

I'm not Kristen but I think it works the same way at all locations. Once you sign the consents you still have to pass the criteria set forth by the study. FSH at a certain level, estradiol at a certain level, nothing that shows up in your saline sonogram....etc. No more than 2 failed IVF cycles, the semen analysis has to come back within a certain range....etc. So again, it's all just normal stuff but they have to send all your blood work to the 'study' lab and it all has to be within a certain parameter to move forward. I'm sure you'll be fine

Faith (IndieBlue) - Thank you so much for your response! I'm hoping that since I've already had blood test in January at CORM that if anything was abnormal they would have told me! ***Deep Breath***

Hi Ladies...
Well I signed my consents yesterday and did my bloodwork. I also had my post surgery appt and everything went well. I had a lot of going on in there. I did in fact have a uterine septum which was corrected. This frustrates me since this was lap #5 and never found . But that is in the past now. I also had two fibroids and one endometrial polyup. I know i just mispelled that but brain is not working.. I will be on estrogen and progestrone for the next ten days and then RE said AF should start..

Hi Tonysolve.. I also along with babywishes got to the Austin clinic. My Re is Silverberg.. I love him.. He is so great...Congrat's on your BFP

I think the full moon might be effecting this place. From the second we walked in, nobody seemed to know what was going on. I tried to pay a bill, but it took 3 people to get it handled. They tried to tell me I was only here for bloodwork...hello, ET! Now after having blood drawn then being told the Dr. does it and they shouldn't have, I've been sitting in an exam room with a full bladder for an hour. I hope the rest of you are having more fun.

We just received the phone call from Todd and out of 11 mature eggs that were ICSI'd - 9 were fertilized. My ET is scheduled for 7:30 am on Saturday. I got the vaginal ring today.
One question though, they scheduled my pregnancy test for 6/2 which is 2 weeks after the ER.....Isn't the pregnancy test supposed to be scheduled 2 weeks after the ET???? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Rose - Hope your ET went better than it started this morning!!! Keep us updated!!!!
Kristen - Have fun on vacation!!!!
Hoping for lots of BFP's!!!!!!

Rose, good luck today! Hope things get better!

Mandi, great report!! Actually, my schedule shows a pregnancy test 2 weeks from the ER too. I think the study requires that, so we get an earlier test than some others.

I'm PUPO X2!!! They stuck 1 3AA and 1 2AA in the oven to bake =).With day 5 transfers your numbers go up sooner and faster than with day3. Also, that's what the study protocol dictates. Hope that helps. (That's why we have early betas)

babydust - I had my first beta on Wednesday 5/14. They are giving results. They did say that it could be negative and then turn positive on the second beta two days later. They have to do the first beta 14 days after your egg retrieval per the study rules. I had beta # three today, but haven't gotten results. Hope this helps.

Congratulations Rose! I'm praying for you!

Hollie - Praying for high Beta numbers!

Nikki - That's so awesome you got in the study! When I was at CORM Friday, Dr. Schnell told me she had to exclude one lady that morning from the study due to her having ONE polyp and she couldn't do any corrective surgery for the study!

Faith - Hang in there with the Lupron & thanks for paving the way with your questions!

Lua - How are you feeling? Any news from the doctor?

to EVERYONE!!!! This is such a WONDERFUL support system! I haven't met any of you wonderful ladies yet, but I love you already!!!
