I have a 5 page packet - The front says - Duramed IVF Study Contract - at the bottom - FET & Meds - $2,500 +meds (estimate $3,000).
On the 3rd page called - Embryo Cryopreservation and Storage - about the $600 freezing and storage - it tells about it! Megan

Hi Kari,
I am glad that you mentioned this on contract because I was just told two days ago that I would have to pay $3250. for the FET plus and additional 325.00 for the EMBRYO GLUE, I think this is a great idea and I encourage any of you that embryo failed to implant to ask Doctor Schnell for this extra procedure EMBRYO GLUE wuth your FET. Google it for more information!Because I didn't know that she was doing this extra procedure I was just reading about this in a study and looking for a another study regarding EMBRYO GLUE!

Wow, that's great about the locked in price for FET. When I first started this process the first coordinator I spoke to said that FET was included in this study....sadly she was mistaken, but I've heard of a few other ladies that were told the same thing at other clinics so it makes you wonder if they changed it later?
Tomorrow is my baseline and AF arrived this morning....so that'll be fun (note the sarcasm) LOL Oh well, who cares.....one step closer to stims! Wish me luck and lots of prayers that my u/s comes out okay and I can proceed with stims.

Jenifer - Congrats on the good beta #. It's funny that you and I have very similar #s. I'm jealous that your first u/s is before mine... I have to wait until Monday for some reason. Oh well...
I'm very happy to see ladies getting ready for FET. It's really a blessing to have the frozen embies.

Yes, I am am so glad we have 5 pretty good embabies on ice and I am going to have to look at the contract. Dr. Schnell is suppose to be calling us so I will have to ask her about the glue. I feel so much better knowing that the reason it probably didn't work was because of the difficult ET. Dr. Schnell knows what she is going to have to do to get the cath in smoothly. Megan- I may call you sometime after you meet with Dr. Schnell so I know what to expect for our FET.

How are you!?! I'm so happy for you guys going to FET!!! It's going to work!!! Rose - How are you today?! Congratulations for your little icecreams!! And I'm really happy, that's a lot of BFP here!!! About OHSS, I'm a little bit better, it's being hard to sleep without breath well, but I hope it gets worse! (sorry say that) but they said that if I get pregnant it's going to be worst than now... I believe that I need to pray to it! Does anyone knows when can we start to test??? heheh... I know that I'm crazy, but I want to start!!!

There are different opinions on hpt. I think 10 days past transfer is pretty safe. Although it is still possible to get false negative then. I tested 6 days past my transfer and got a very faint positive, and I had a super high 1st beta. So you could start testing whenever you want to as long as you know that the negative test could be wrong. But if the negative would upset you, I would wait a couple days. Just my thoughts... Good luck when you do test!

I have a question. A girl that I work with is also in the study and she just confused me a little. I got my prescription for my meds a couple weeks ago and when it was filled I assumed I got everything because there were 5 medications on there and I got all 5, but she said the pharmacy did not give her the rocephin. I don't have that medicine at home and she said it was an IV sedation drug and I thought the clinic was supposed to provide the IV sedation drugs. Am I wrong or just totaly confused now?
