Jenifer - I am excited to see baby/babies. I just think I might go crazy waiting.

Heather - YAY for your beta #2. That is great! BTW I didn't see the dr on my beta #3. I did get to talk to the nurse and ask some questions.

One answer I got made me very happy. I love taking baths and soaking and I love swimming. I thought maybe so swimming for the first 12 weeks, but she said I could take a bath and swim after they see the heartbeat! Also, I can get teeth cleaned, but no x-rays. I was worried that my teeth would have to be nasty for 9 months. And I've had a little bit of pain and cramping, but she said it's normal.

I was wondering if you guys could answer another question for me. Is it possible to transfer 3 embryos instead of 2 embryos?? I know most people have transferred 2 but I really would like to transfer 3 if they would allow it and we have could enough embryos to do this. Does Dr. Schnell talk to you about this option the day of the transfer???????

I'm pretty sure it says somewhere in the study paperwork or the CORM paperwork that 2 embies will be transferred. Dr didn't ever ask me about it. It wouldn't hurt to ask the nurse about it though. But if you don't get your BFP this time and you have extra you can do a FET...

Mandi - Dr Schnell goes over your report with you right before the ET procedure. Generally she recommends 2 to put back. I wouldn't think she would be totally against three - but it depends on your report. DH and I had decided two and no more than that.

When the nurse called today she didn't even ask me when I wanted to come in for my 3rd beta. She just told me that they had my scheduled to come in on the 27th at 9:30am for the lab and follow up with Dr. Schnell........but who know's maybe it's just going to be with a nurse.

Congratulations on your BFP. I noticed that you were on Folgard and Lovenox after your ET. Do you mind if I ask why you were on both? I was diagnosed with MTHFR (hetero) and am also on Folgard. I asked the my doctor for my IVF #1 to put my on Lovenox as I heard this would help but he refused. I did have a failed cycle and am wondering if the Lovenox would have helped. Any feedback you could give would be appreciated. I did the Duramed study in FL and got a BFN. I was also on the ring. This is my first post on your thread but I have been reading.

Hi everyone! Just dropping in a quick note to say hello and to see how everyone is doing! I'm typing on my phone so this will be short.

Mandi, Dr schnell told me that she can put in as many as she needed too based on. Quality, number, etc. This study doesn't limit you. The Serono study does limit the number of embryo's transferred though, but not the Duramed study.

Just a little FYI, be careful what you post on the boards, I think some people may be snooping from the clinical trial to see what we are telling each other! Lol. So just be careful what you say if its something that you may not want people outside our group to know about!

Well, i'm off to meet Kate and Azoodude for dinner! Woohoo! I can't wait to meet them! I love all the friends I've made on this board, you guys keep me sane!!

Wow, really? Why on earth would they care what we're posting to support each other. I don't think we're trading deep inside information or anything LOL Wow...now I'm kind of paranoid to post anything, I'd hate to jinx my cycle.

Your ovaries should be calm and quiet before you start stims (that's why they do BCPs and Lupron). You won't see follicles until after you start the stims.

Hope you're having a good time, and thanks for not abandoning us while you're on your trip. Please tell Kate and Azoodude hello for us (and I'm still waiting for a signature thingy LOL). I think if the study people wanted to know more about our experiences they should have put more sections in our "journals" or put an interactive site for us to participate in rather than snooping.
