Stacey - Only one more day until your appt! I hope your still doing ok, can't wait to hear what they have to say!

Kari - That certainly doesn't sound like fun! Like you said though, anything to increase your chances!!

Shannon - Congrats on being PUPO!! Take it easy and let those little guys snuggle in, hoping to see a BFP from you soon! My clinic mostly does only 3-day transfers, if that helps you feel any better. I know it confuses me and stresses me out thinking about it sometimes...but in the end you have to leave it up to the Dr's they are the ones that are supposed to know what is best for us.

Cheli - I can't wait to hear how your eggs are cooking!

Faith - How are you feeling? Please let us know when you get your fert report!

Kristen & Nicole - You get to start stims tomorrow!

Babywishes - Your transfer is tomorrow!

As for me, no call from the nurse so I don't know what my E2 level is and I did my full dose of stims last night...she has to call me today or I'll call at 4, because I need to know if I go back in tomorrow or Saturday.

I just called the nurse hotline because I'm having a sharp pain in my left ovary. I'm waiting for them to call me back, I just want to make sure everything is okay before I start my stims tomorrow. The pain is not bad, but I've felt these pains before when I had cysts rupture. I hope that's okay if it is a cyst rupturing. ={
I also had the worst headache of my life last night. I still feel it a little bit. Tylenol is not helping, I took about 4 total last night and it only made it lighter not completely go away. I almost cheated and took something stronger that I knew would take my headache away, but I told myself not to. Is anyone else having the pain and headaches?

Compacting is a GOOD thing!! It means they are already moving on to the next level, at least that's what my nurse said. And don't worry about three day versus five day, if you look on the boards you will see there are a TON of women who get pregnant with 3 day transfers, in fact, I think that's the most common type of transfer. You'll do great!!

Back from today's appt 5 of my 7 fertilized conventionally...no ICSI! I got the Gel, which I'm already HATING!!! It's not staying in place! She said that the vag. walls were like a sandwich and that it wouldn't come back out, but I beg to differ! It was coming out before I even left the office. I'm not feeling positive about this! The nurse said that I'd probably go in for a 3dt, but she'd call and let me know what the embryologist decides tomorrow

Cheli: Good numbers....can't wait to hear when you trigger

Nicole: I hope the pain wasn't anything serious....keep us updated!

Melis: Good luck....hope you hear back from her soon. I hate waiting on them to call....my nurse has been very good about being between 2 and 3 though, but out today Thanks for asking about me too

KDJAJ: Glad a 3 day worked for you...that seems to be where I'm headed. Thanks for the vote of confidence too!

Sashia: Congrats on being PUPO with twins!

China: Hope your follies are growing big and strong

Nicole: Good luck with your ER next week....I don't like being put under either....I get really really sick. But the ER was fine...other than the sickness LOL

So I got some info about the bloodwork...

Hello everyone! Just a quick update and I'll catch up with everyone later tonight...

So first of all, I got my insurance company and my hospital to talk to each other about the $1800 bloodwork charges and it seems they weren't billed for something that cost $1500...so I don't owe nearly that much...whew!!!

I got my expensive bloodwork back and it looks like I have some definite blood clotting disorders going on. I get to join the MTHFR gene club and I also have something called Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS)...which has to do with bloodclotting problems (and migraines are a symptom...go figure)....at least it is all starting to make sense now!!!

Anyway, I'll catch up later, I gotta get back to work...hope everyone is doing ok!!?!?!?

Kristen, I'm so glad you're getting some answers!!! I always feel better just knowing what's going on.

Indie, you might talk to your nurse about the gel? I got the gel too, and I was really worried about it being messy, but I've had no issues at all, I don't even notice it, and there's been no "leakage" at all.

Thanks BabyWishes I'll talk to her tomorrow about it...not really sure what they could do though, since it's randomized. I don't think they could switch me....probably just tell me to deal with it I am a normal 1-2 pantyliner a day woman...so again I don't think they take that in to account and it's not sticking to my 'sandwich' LOL because of it's normal PH or whatever.

Kristen, I'm sorry about all the clotting factor issues, but I really think the lovenox is going to help a lot. Maybe you can take some baby aspirin after the study as well. I hope they can figure out what to do about your migraines.

Saschia, we transferred 2 5-day embabies. I think the grades were 3AB and 2AA grades. I think that transferring 3-day embabies is good as well. Sometimes they do better in the womb.

Kristen:
That sucks with the clotting issues. Hopefully everything will turn out okay.

IndieBlue:
I've had to take the gel progesterone before and it was the worst. I've taken it by pill oral and vaginally also, but the gel was the worst. There's not much you can do about it except constantly keeping yourself dry and someone else in the post said to eat yogurt to help fight off yeast infections. YUK!

As for me the nurse finally called me back and said my ultrasound showed no cysts and just to wait it out unless the pain got worse. It seems to be getting better, but I feel like crap. I hope I feel better soon cuz DH is getting no attention, poor thing! I hate going through all this, but I feel worse for him sometimes because he just doesn't know what to do for me. LOL!
