Hi Ladies,
Sorry I have been missing in action. I have been really busy at work and my dad had a stroke a few weeks back so I have been busy helping him. All is well with me. I am rounding the corner. It has taken my eggs a little longer to mature this time around. I think it was because I was on lupron for much longer and the protocol is slightly different. I am taking my last dose of stims tonight and I should be triggering tomorrow. Things are looking good, they see at least 20 or so mature follicles. They told me that my estrogen is at 2672 as of this morning. Dr. Perloe has reduced my Gonal-F to 225 for tonight. They don't want my estrogen to get too high. I have two lead follies on the left that are at or above 17, they just need one to get to 17 on the right. I am hoping that they will see what the need to see tomorrow morning at my appt. I hope that they get lots of eggs. I am fearful about not having any to freeze (which is what happen last time). I am also hoping for a 3 day transfer because my 5 days didn't look so hot last time. Indie, I hope your fever is under control and that you are feeling better. Congrats on your ER/ET. Stacey, Chinadoll and Cheli congrats on your ERs! Courtney & Babywishes congrats on your ETs! Tina, I am sorry to hear about your father. Glad to see that everyone is plugging along in their cycles. Good luck to everyone and I will make an effort to post more often. Just got the call from John at CORM and 6 out of my 7 precious eggs were mature!
 I may not make a bunch but I guess the few that I do make are mature  All Praise be to God!They did ICSI on all 6 and we will find out tomorrow how many fertilized!

StaceyCA- I am so sorry about your father. I hope he gets better soon! Congrats on getting ready to trigger! Sounds like you are doing great!!! I do know Cheli's update on but I'm not sure if she will post from home today or not so I will wait to post her report for her. If she hasn't posted by the time I leave work I will fill you guys in. It's great news though!

Just wanted to stop in and say Hi. I've been reading everyone's progress and rooting you all along.
Just wanted to let the ones know that didn't have many eggs about my friend that did this study. She only had 5 eggs retrieved, only 3 fertilized. They put the best 2 back on day 3. The other one didn't make it to freezing stage. I kept telling her "It only takes one, don't give up!" Well, it worked and she is pregnant. So DON'T give up girls. Keeping everyone in my prayers. I'll have my first u/s at CORM Friday at 8:30.

wow thanks hun i really needed that ... i have been so stressed out .. i think that my boobs are gonna fall off and AF is going to rear her evil head any min.... so i was thinking this whole thing was a bust...

I just got the phone call on my blood work after starting the stims on friday and it's only at 86. I'm guessing that's not too good since she asked me to up my gonal f dosage. So far I feel okay except for the tiredness. I wish I didn't have to work because I'm finding it so hard to concentrate on anything else but this.....
It seems everyone is moving along at a good pace so I can't wait to see more BFP's!!!!!  and Baby Dust to Everyone!!

Shannon and Indieblue, sorry about not having any frozen embryos, that is so disappointing, I know. I still haven't heard from my clinic about whether I have any frozen or not, apparently they're short staffed today so it may be tomorrow before I hear, but I'm kind of going in not expecting any. I have seen a lot of posts from ladies who had none freeze, and got BFP's. I don't think there's a correlation between not having any frozen and success rates, or at least, I've never heard that. My RE told me that fewer than 40% of women have frozen embies, so most women don't.

Does anyone know what a good estrogen level is for IVF? I thought because I had so many eggs before I even started the stims I would be good, but now I'm getting worried that my eggs are no good.

Don't worry Nicole, I had an initially low E2 level as well, but they adjusted my medication and everything worked out fine. Everyone responds to medication differently and it doesn't reflect any lack of egg quality. Don't worry, they'll just adjust your medication to tailor it to your body's response. Good luck!
