Jean - That actually happened to my cousin! They implanted 2 and one blast split so she has triplets! Another girl going through the cycle with her implanted 2 blast and BOTH split and she now has 4 babies! That was about 4 years ago and Dr. Schnell said she remembered hearing about it so it is a very rare occurence! But, be ready for anything ladies! Contratulations on your twins!

Wow Congrats!!!!

I checked all day yesterday to see what your update would be. I had a feeling with a beta that high that you were having twins! I'm sorry about the 3rd sac but it sounds like God has a plan for you and things are working out the way they are supposed to.

Congrats to you and your hubby!

Good Luck to all the girls ER & ET transfer this weekend!

I think we also have 3 betas this weekend so that's pretty awesome too!!

Good Luck to everyone!!!

Jean, congrats on your twins!!! That's awesome!

Well, I go in for my Beta on Sunday, and I am so nervous! I'm considering taking an HPT tomorrow morning, but I'm scared. I told DH that we aren't getting results until Monday so that if we do get a BFP I can surprise him on Father's Day. I have been having a lot of cramping for the past 3 days, on and off. I don't know if that means anything or nothing, but it kind of scares me. This weekend is going to be really long!

Question

So for you ladies that have already gotten your is it normal to cramp on and off like I am? I'm not spotting or anything just cramping. Just scared that because I don't have any of the same symptoms as everyone else that something is wrong.

I got a BFP and I had spotting and slight twinges/ cramps starting 5 days after transfer. So I wouldn't worry about it. It is normal for some people to cramp and I was one of them......GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

I just got home, from the hotel. My dear sweet MIL came to the hotel and picked me up so DH could go back to work today. She just lives down the road so she is going to take very good care of me. She insists on doing everything for me even coming down every couple hours to let the dogs out. I couldn't ask for better in laws!

Looking good!

Hey everyone, just got back from my U/S appt...that was fun. NOT!

So the good news is that I have a lot of good looking follies this time, I had over 15 measurable ones and most are in the 14-18 range which is great. So it looks like I'm going to trigger tomorrow night and have my ER on Monday! I'm so happy!

The bad news (and I don't know that it is bad really) is that my right ovary decided to get shy and hide behind my uterus. So they tried finding it (and let me tell you that did not feel good and I was crying from the pain), but they ended up getting the RE and she had to measure them abdominally. No biggie, but she did say that I was going to have my ER abdominally rather than Vaginally? Has anybody had that done? It was just news to me and I have no idea what that means really...so if anybody has heard about it please let me know!

So anyway, no retrieval on Father's Day...instead, I'll get to do an enema that day...LMAO!!!

Anyway, my ovaries feel like crud so I'm going to go relax for a little while, I'll catch up later today!

Sorry Kristen that you're having to do an abdominal ET--I've never heard of that! That's so great that you have a lot of follies though, I'm sure everything will go great. Good luck!

Thank you Mandi. I have been worried about that. I haven't been spotting but I've had cramps on and off and my back was killing me. Also wanted to ask you after your ET the next day did you do nothing but stay in bed? I couldn't sit still. I was so uncomfortable. Were there any signs that you could tell maybe you were pregnant? Sorry I know that the labs are down and they are going to have to send my lab work out and am scared they aren't going to let me know on Sunday. But I don't want to do a HPT cause I don't want to get my results like that. I'm to scared of the out come.

Kari - I know you think that there are two in there making theirselves comfortable I just wanted some other opinions from the ladies.

I went and had my 1st ultrasound appt. today to measure my follicles. I don't think the nurse did it correctly because before I even started on my stims I had 10 on one side and 7 on the other and today she found 5 on one side and 4 on the other. I could tell she was trying not to hurt me so I don't think she got them all.

Kristen they always have trouble finding my left ovary and end up digging into me and it always hurts so I feel your pain. Anyways they ranged in size from 13 to 16 so I guess I'm doing okay and it looks like I'm still gonna keep my retieval date of Tuesday.

Congrats on the twins Jean that is so exciting!!!!
