Sorry I know that the labs are down and they are going to have to send my lab work out and am scared they aren't going to let me know on Sunday. But I don't want to do a HPT cause I don't want to get my results like that. I'm to scared of the out come.

Kari - I know you think that there are two in there making theirselves comfortable I just wanted some other opinions from the ladies.

Courtney - Well after my ET I felt great!!! I was the same as you. I think the follistim and HCG were getting out of my system. I tried to sit down as much as possible and lay in bed whenever I could tolerate it. I sat at the computer A LOT and downloaded tons of music. I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms AT ALL until I started spotting and having cramps. I still felt good and had tons of energy but the nurses kept telling me I had to relax and lay down more so that the spotting could form a clot. I am on the February due date forum and a lot of those ladies are complaining of back pain but I have not yet experienced it. Just wanted to tell you how I felt because I was going crazy in my 2WW not knowing if what I was feeling was a good sign or not. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

So the good news is that I have a lot of good looking follies this time, I had over 15 measurable ones and most are in the 14-18 range which is great. So it looks like I'm going to trigger tomorrow night and have my ER on Monday! I'm so happy!

The bad news (and I don't know that it is bad really) is that my right ovary decided to get shy and hide behind my uterus. So they tried finding it (and let me tell you that did not feel good and I was crying from the pain), but they ended up getting the RE and she had to measure them abdominally. No biggie, but she did say that I was going to have my ER abdominally rather than Vaginally? Has anybody had that done? It was just news to me and I have no idea what that means really...so if anybody has heard about it please let me know!

So anyway, no retrieval on Father's Day...instead, I'll get to do an enema that day...LMAO!!!

Anyway, my ovaries feel like crud so I'm going to go relax for a little while, I'll catch up later today!

Kristen-I'm guessing that means they will do laparoscopic (sp?) surgery?? I've seen that on other websites before and that's how some doctors do all of their retrievals. I've had that type of surgery to remove a large cyst from my ovary and it was no biggie. They make 3 little (like 1/2 ") incisions - 2 for tools and 1 for a camera. After they heal, you'll never even know they were there. I hope your trigger and surgery goes well Kristen!

slight twinges - I have felt that the last hour of sitting here at my desk waiting for 4:45 to get here. I asked my SIL - Kari about what that meant and she was explaining it to me and I've been sitting here and have been like that's the feeling that she is talking about. LOL So now you have lifted my spirits. Thank you.

Sorry I keep posting. I keep switching back and forth from this site to the other. Trying to get all the information about all the symptoms that I can.

Good morning everyone! Just got home from my U/S and I'm definitely triggering tonight!!! Woohoo!! I'm so ready to get this show on the road!

My Right ovary came out of hiding and has LOTS of follies, well over 10 on that one alone, which is a shock because last IVF, that ovary only had TWO! So I'm very excited!! Hopefully they won't have to do the abdominal retrieval after all!

Yeah Kristin!

So happy to hear that you have lots of follicles and that your shy right ovary came out for all to see

I am still just resting and taking it easy. It is much easier to be lazy and lay around when you are not required I am enjoying the TLC though. I have such great family taking care of me. I just keep praying that my embabies are still growing and are ready to implant in the next two or three days! I just keep having this feeling this is our time but I am so scared to get myself too excited!

I hope everyones ET went well today and yeah for triggering tonight Kristin!

I'm new

Hi!
I've been lurking for some time now and thought I should join in. Hope it's not too late....I am also participating in the Duramed Study in Austin. DH and I have been TTC for 4 years when my new OB found cysts on my ovaries. Went in for lap to drain and she found massive scarring throughout my abdomen. Tubes totally scarred, couldn't even see my ovaries. Referred me to RE in Austin and had tubes removed. IVF our only option now. Got wind of the study from OB and here we are, waiting on AF to arrive to start BCP. Feel like I know you all already because I've been reading your posts to get the "lowdown". We're very excited to begin this adventure and feel blessed to be able to get in on the study.

Hi all -

Had my ER today and overall it went well. The only major bummer was that before ER I had 10 follies, after my RE came to see me in the recovery room he said he only retreived 5 follies with one being too mature. So I'm down to 4.

I was way too out of it to register what he was saying, but I want to ask him what the heck happened to the other 5 follies I had?

The only other thing he said to my DH (and I must of been really out of it b/c I don't ever remember the RE saying this) was that my tubes looked kind of swollen and to continue taking Doxy for the next few days.

I'm scheduled to go in tomorrow at 8AM to find out if I'll be getting the ring or creme. We should know tomorrow night how our embies are doing.

that all 4 are succesful!
