Well has finally arrived. I called clinic coordinator who then made an appt. on Thursday to do my 3 day blood work and then hopefully on to the BCP's

yay, you can get started now!

i went yesterday for my day 3 bw & urine sample. they also gave me my bcps (portia), lupron, and a sharps container. bonnie told me she would call me to start my pills on either wed. or thurs. 3 weeks of pills total.

Ok, I finally got AF on Saturday!!! They called in a script for my bcps and doxycycline and I start them on the 19th. Thanks Kristen for updating me!!! I will be in Houston a lot from now on! Has anyone else gotten their protocol? Is anyone else going to be on Menopur and Gonal F for stims???

Kristen, will you please ask Maryanne tomorrow why they use both Gonal F and menopur at your appt??? I emailed her yesterday, but haven't gotten a response. I hope your popcorn follies have grown a lot!!!

Is the Clearwater clinic associated with Dr. Schnell? When do you start lupron? I start 4/4.

no. oops, i meant to add FL behind the clearwater. i believe there are about 20 different clinics around the country involved in this particular study. are you in the progesterone ring study as well?

as for my calendar, i start the lupron (4/5 or 4/6) when i get down to 4 pills left in my pack. i start my bcp either tomorrow or thursday. hopefully tomorrow, i'm ready to get this ball rolling

Yes, I'm in the progesterone study. I start bcps tomorrow, lupron on 4/4, stims on 4/18 and have anticipated ER for 4/29. I'm ready to get this show on the road. But I'm also a little scared...

I had my initial testing done on 3/4 and 3/6 and they already gave me my bc pills and now I am just waiting for and then I will call for my schedule. I e-mailed MaryAnne today to see if she could give me a tentative schedule so I could book some flights, as SW is having a huge sale. I called SW and they said if I book the wrong dates I could have CORM fax them something saying the dates changed for medical reasons. All she responded was that I would have to wait until I start to call and get my schedule. I should start on 4/1 and will go from there. Can you ladies tell me how many times I will have RE appts until ER? I know I will probably have to fly down just to get the Lupron, which kinda sucks...much cheaper than out of pocket though! Good luck ladies and keep us updated. I love reading your posts.

Have you already done your day 3 labs? Have Maryanne call in your bcps and doxy to your pharmacy if at all possible. You wil pay for those out of pocket, but it's probablt cheaper than the FedEx bill you would get if they shipped it. Plus you'll get it faster...If you do this, your schedule will look like this:

April 1 AF start
April 2 or 3 Start bcps
April 18 - Lupron visit to Houston
May 2 - stims visit to Houston - plan on staying through ER
You will have u/s or bw on:
5/2, 5/4, 5/7, 5/9, 5/11 roughly
May 13 - tentative ER
May 18 - tentative 5 day transfer

Thanks babybearjmd! That is so helpful. They gave me a back of bc pills when I was there on 3/6 and yes I had bloodwork on day 4 so I am good to go. What is doxy? Are they doing 5 day transfers? I noticed that nobody is doing 3 day transfers. Thanks again. Kari
