Some interesting facts so far :)

Yeah, I'm an engineer so I like statistics...sometimes.

So here are the stats so far for our little group here on the board.

Out of 26 betas taken so far, 17 were pregnant...that's a 65% success rate!! That's awesome considering even the best clinics in the country only have a 50% success rate!

12 of the 17 have had their bean counts and there are 5 sets of TWINS. That's 42% of the group!!

So now I can't wait to find out how many boys/girls there will be . They say IVF produces more boys!!

LOL! Oh, I want to add on another question to your question too!

How many people did ICSI? AND

How many embies/blasts did you transfer and what grade? I've been kind of bad about keeping track of that stuff...maybe I'll try to do that too...LOL.

So I did ICSI on both trials

THere are these theories out there that more boys are born from IVF because they develop faster into blasts so they "look" like they are better quality than the others when in reality they are just boys developing faster...so of course, I'm always curious if that holds true...kind of like if the heartbeat is over 160 it's a girl theory...lol.

I just got back from vacation, and wow, so many BFP's!!

Shannon-Girl, congratulations!!!!! I am so excited for you, my heart just leapt when I read your post!

Cheli and Chinadoll, congrats on your BFP's!

Kristen, congrats on your transfer!

It's fun to see those statistics, lots of success! I had ICSI, and we transferred two blasts, one BBB and one CBB--my RE grades a little differently than most clinics, it's on an A-F scale, A being best.

Congratulations Cheli and Stacy!!!! I just knew you were pregnant when I saw that you both were spotting.

Stacy we have been trying to get pregnant for 7 years too. So believing that it is actually happening is very surreal. We have built our lives on the fact that we couldn't have children and now WHAM we change everything!!!! We are so very excited though and I am very excited for you too!!!

Oh and I did ICSI and we had 2 4AB blasts and none to freeze.

Can't wait to hear more BFP's. Kristen I love your statistics!!!!

Congrats and I POAS'd...

Congrats Stacey and Cheli!!!!

I POAS'd this morning and it was a big fat EPT !!!!! DH and I are very, very happy but still cautiously awaiting our beta this Thursday!

To answer Kristen's questions, we didn't ICSI any of our eggs and 26 fertilized. We transferred 3 blasts but I don't know what grade. The RE said they were "high quality" but they don't really grade them. We froze five day 5 blasts and five day 6 blasts for a total of 10 frosties.
