As for me we are excited to see our bean tomorrow at our 1st ever OBGYN appointment!!! How is everyone else doing? It sure has gotten quiet on here lately!

Kristen - Sorry you're so tired. Maybe it will get better in the 2nd trimester. I don't know... I'm still pretty tired at the end of the day or after doing too much. But it is a different kind of tired. 1st trimester tired = zombie miserable. 2nd trimester tired = lazy tired want to relax!!

Tropical storm coming... YUCKOLA! Ok ladies in the TX coast... I am not happy about this storm. I've been through Rita which was super bad and a traumatic experience for me, Humberto which was scary and we were cleaning up leaks in the middle of the night, and the street was flooded. So I get a little nervous. We had some high winds yesterday and lost power for a while.
So we're going to make sure we're prepared. If you're in the area, get ready! It just seems extra scary being pregnant in this.

Hello all,
It's been a really long time since I've been on the forum. It took a while to catch up with all of you. I'm so sorry for the BFNs and the loss of Z's baby. I understand how you must be feeling. Congrats to all of you that got good results and good luck on continued good luck. It's amazing that some of you already know the gender of your little one(s). As for me, in the past couple weeks I've found out two of my friends are having babies and my BIL's wife had another kid. It's a very odd situation to me since she has a 16 year old, a 12 year old, and a 2 wk old. He has a 4 year old. Also, they've been married for for one year and about 1 month. The "it's not fair" thing has been kicking my butt along with the "why did she really want another one now?". I started nursing school last week. I've been doing my best to not think about babies (having/not having them). I wish nothing but the best to all of you. Catch you later, Rose

Rose, my heart breaks for you. I know exactly what you mean about "its not fair". My SIL is about to have her 3rd, my BF got pg at the snap of her fingers practically, everyone around me seems like they are having babies, and no one understands how it makes you feel. Please know that you are in my prayers and that God has you in His hands.

Congrats MJones on triggering! The advice I have is:
1) Set an alarm or reminder to go off around 15 minutes before you have to trigger. 2) Make sure that you don't eat or drink anything after 12 am on Thursday night. 3) Wear some comfy, loose and easy to remove clothes to your ER. 4) Don't wear any perfume, perfumed deodorants or perfumed lotions to ER. The eggs are very sensitive to this kind of stuff. Same goes for your DH. 5) Take all day Friday (and Saturday and Sunday if needed) to recoup from the ER. It isn't bad, but some folks have residual pain/cramping so take it easy. 6) Have some easily digested and ready to heat food for Friday so you or your DH don't have to prepare or go get food. 7) Get some Gatorade to drink after ER on Friday. My favorite flavor is Rain. It isn't too strong, tastes pretty good and doesn't have an after taste. 8) Get some good movies, mags and/or books to entertain you on Friday. 9) Be prepared to have an appt on Saturday morn to get your pink study bag, new notebook and to get randomized to the ring or gel. 10) Do not hesitate to tell your RE or nurse if you have any heavy bleeding, fever or severe/extremely painful cramping after ER. Megan - That's great that you have a friend named Chesley. I actually had never heard it before, but I love it. It is my husband's late grandfather's name so it will be special to his family. Jefferson is my maiden name, so that will be special to my family for his middle name.
You're almost ready to trigger!! I agree with the pp's advice. Going in for the procedure wasn't scary, but I felt crampy and yucky afterwards, nothing too horrible. You will just need rest. You'll be ok. Rose - I'm sorry you are going through a hard time. Thanks for checking in on us.

Wow. Everyone left me.. Just kidding. NOt many around these days anymore..I hope everyone is doing well with their cycles and also the PG's
I started Af today so now I have my baseline Friday and blood work and hopefuly if all is weel I should start my stims. I received the big box yesterday with all my med's and wow was there a lot in there too. I am kind of freakin out because day before Retrieval I am suppose to take Doxycycline or how ever you spell it, but its a capsule and I can't swallow those to good. Tablets are usually no big deal because I can cut them up. Not sure what to do. Pray I guess. I have a ridculous gag reflex..
