Do you happen to have a pap from your regular doctor that was done in the past 6 months? If you send them the report from that, you shouldn't have to do it again.

Hey Tomeka! I haven't had any until this morning I had some very light cramping, nothing like AF, just some twinges. So I don't know if that's a sympton or not. How about you?? I don't know if you are on the gel or not, but have you noticed a discharge from it if you are?? I just started getting a discharge from the progesterone today which surprise me...I don't know why, what goes up must come down, right? LOL.

They had mixups like that with me too sometimes. If you have a copy of a pap smear within the last six months like Janice said you should be fine. If not, then tell them to have Maryanne call you ASAP. You can start your BCPs anywhere up to 5 days after AF I think so you should be ok.

Kristen I had an awful pain early this morning that woke me up from my sleep at the lower right part of my abdomen, I am still bloated and have alot of gas. I feel butterflies in my belly but this all may be just me going CRAZZZY. I have the gel, kind of felt a little irritated but not alot of discharge.

Ok, now this is weird because two nights ago I had a sharp pain in the lower right of my abdomen!! And it also woke me up...but it was right before my DH moved and hit me in the stomach with his knee so I thought it was from that...but now that I think about it, I think it was the pain that hit me that made DH move and hit me! LOL! I hope you feel better, I drank a lot of water AND gatorade and it helped. I was drinking just gatorade and had problems, but once I added water to the mix, it helped a lot.

Well maybe that is a good sign. It was a pain so bad I could almost feel it in my right leg.

Kristen, so glad to hear that you are doing so well. Rocky is probably snuggling in good. I'm sorry if this has already been asked but did you get the ring or the suppository?

I hope so!!

Pris - I'm not on the progesterone study, I'm on a different study (right now anyway) at CORM. It has pretty much the same protocol as everyone else. However, I am on the progesterone gel

Okay, starting to stress a little on getting our trip to Houston planned. I am scheduled for ER on 5/6 so DH is going to come to Houston on 5/4 and we are considering sending him home the day after ER so he can get back to teaching. He can fly back for the ET, but he wanted me to check to see if he has to be there? A friend that lives in Austin has volunteered to come to the ET and drive me to her house for the night. What are your thoughts about DH not being there for ET. I want him there, but with his job as a teacher it maybe a little difficult time of year to be gone. I am a planner so I want the trip planned now!

I don't think he has to be there if he can't. I know that I would want my dh to be there with me, but if he absolutely cannot then you do what you have to do. I would have your friend be prepared to be with you for a three day or a five day transfer just in case. I would also consider staying in a hotel that day so you can have some bedrest after the procedure. That's just my 2 cents.
I will be traveling to Houston on April 23 and staying until May 7. My dh will be driving there to meet me on Apr 26. My ER is anticipated for Apr 29. My dh will stay there until we both leave on May 7, but he is taking FMLA to do this.

Hey Kari -

I'll give you my two cents. The ER was far worse for me than the ET. You will want him there that day for sure and possibly that night. As for the ET, that was a lot easier, but you will have to have someone drive you there and back as they give you Valium and you can't drive. The thing that I did like about having my DH at the ET was that he could go into the room with me while they did the procedure which they won't let him do for the ER. So I think that helped my DH relate more to what was going on rather than sitting in a waiting room.

I know that doesn't help a whole lot, but hopefully it helps some!

Thanks Kristin and babybear, I will let him know this information. I just wish it was a week later and then he would be done with school. I do want him there with me, but didn't want to make it too stressful for him to be away. I will get to planning.

I know that I just read something on my papers for my ER tomorrow that if some of the eggs are not mature and they mature overnight they might ask for another "donation" from your husband the next morning to try to fertilize the ones that matured overnight.... I had not heard of this before so i don't know how common it is but you may need him around the morning after ER in case that happens...
