I'll be there at 7:00 for an 8:00 appointment. What time are everybody else's appointments? This is exciting, but I was told we won't know if we've been accepted until after the first appointment. At this point we only qualify. Has anybody else been told that?

i cancelled my appointment at CORM. i found out that i can possibly get into the same study at a clinic in clearwater, florida, which is a lot closer to my house. i had most of the tests done the other day, and i'll find out in 2 and a half weeks if i am accepted or not. they said they must check my 3 days levels first.

is everyone traveling 100% sure they are in the study, or is everone just pre-qualified like me so far?

i was really hoping to meet you kristen

Hi everyone. I'm new here. I stumbled across this forum after searching about IVF. I had already known about the Houston trial and had my 1st appt on Tuesday (2/26). I live about 2 1/2 hours North but it is so worth the drive. I go back Saturday to do my 2-4d bw. Another friend of mine has her 1st appt 3/10. I'm so excited. I hope we all have

I'm closer to Beaumont but they told me they are only doing bw and u/s there. The actual IVF process would be done at Webster so I just decided to do it all there. The staff is so friendly, and the place is clean and beautiful.

I can't wait!!

Well, I didn't get a call back yet, but I did finally get a response through email. They forwarded my information to Dr Beltsos. Does anyone know if this is the RE in Texas or through another office?

They sent me a questionnaire to fill out. One of the questions it asked was if I am under the care of a doctor for any other medical condition. I really hope that my having a pacemaker doesn't automatically rule me out! I almost wasn't honest, but I know that I have to leave it in God's hands if we get accepted or not. Did anyone else get a questionnaire first?

CryingInside - I'm not sure where that RE is, maybe you can do a google search on the name? That's not the RE here in Houston, its probably a doctor closer to where you live?

Jean!!! That is fantastic that you have already been to your appointment!!! You will be starting before anybody else probably, so you and your friend get !!! Maybe you will run into Stacey there this weekend!

I'm going in tomorrow for my u/s and b/w and start my lupron injections! Woohoo!

Thank you!! I'm excited. I actually have to wait a full month and wait for so show up again. They didn't have time to do what they wanted to do in time for this . So I won't actually start bcp or shots until the very end of March But that is better than never!! I have to go to the 1:00 pm IVF seminar and injection training 3/19. Are any of you going to that one?

I don't know why I didn't think about a google search LOL! She is through Illinois. I'll have to see if their rates are as good as those in TX. The clinic seems to be pretty advanced. They offer acpuncture, fertility massages, yoga for fertility, mind/body fertility experiences, and infertility counseling! I would love to be able to afford all of that!
