Hi Ladies..
I had my pre-op appointment and schedules for surgery on 5/6. I have been so stressed but now really relieved because before I left RE yesterday I asked"so after surgery, what does my schedule look like, and he replied well right after surgery we will get you on BCP so we can start your IVF for study..."That was music to my ears...   So now I just wait... Congrat's on all the wonferful #'s... Things are looking so good

My sore update!
30 eggs were retrieved!
Of those 17 were mature! They did ICSI on all 17!!! I am sore and spotting a bit!!!! I will wait for a call tomorrow on fertilization!

Hi Ladies,
Last week I was accepted into the Duramed study here in Atlanta. This is truly divine intervention because I had previously been told that the clinic here in Atlanta had filled it's quota for women my age. Thankfully, someone in my age group got pregnant on her own and a slot became available. God is GOOD!!! I am starting my BCP's this week and I am looking forward to getting my 2nd IVF cycle started at a fraction of the cost. I just wanted to say hello and that I wish all of you ladies in Houston 's!I had one question, in the study are you allowed to share with others (I know you can't tell your RE) whether you had the gel or the ring? I am curious in knowing which one the BFP ladies received during their study cycle. Also, any advice you ladies have regarding the study would be greatly appreciated! Take care and Thanks! I had my u/s this morning and I have 8 follies right now. She said that 2 follies are still kind of small (10) but the other are looking nice. I also just got the results of my blood work and my E2 was 394 today so she wants me to keep my stims the same. I will go back on Sat. 5/3/08 at 7:15am for another u/s and blood work to see how I'm progressing.

Okay ladies, I retrieved 22 eggie's on yestersay and 18 of them are fertilized!Hurray!

Z_loca started b/c pills on 3/20/2008 dc'd b/c pills on 4/7/2008 hysterosonogram on 4/2/2008 started lupron 0.1cc 4/4/2008 4/18/2008 E2/ultrasound, decreased lupron 0.05cc, & started stim meds (follistim 225 am/ follistim 225 & reduced follistim down to 175 menopur 75 pm) 4/21/2008 E2 over 4/23/08 poss E2 4/25/08 poss E2 4/26/08 poss E2 3000 4/27/08 poss E2 over 3500 4/29/08 ER day retrieved 22 eggs 18 fertilized  5/4/08 transfered 2 blastocyst 4 frozen blastocyst 10 days later go see the doctor.............. 5-14-08 next visit to re-test 5-16-08 (2WW) is over!!!!! showed up tuesday- game over!future plans FET with embryo glue (Sept)!!! yeah!! July 14, 2008 discussed Hysteroscopy on 8/1 @3:00PM Lap-to re-examine 8/1 the only tube that's opened Hyster- to evualate my uterus! Yea!

Jenifer....GREAT egg report. When I donated years ago they were able to get 11 mature eggs...I felt accomplished then but your report is AWESOME!

Allright - I am a school teacher! I had planned on going back to work tomorrow!
I am so freaking sore!!!!! I am not due for any Tylenol for another hour! I need to know - How should I feel in thr morning? I need to know if I should put in for a sub. I know that I will probably be out Mon-Wed if we do a 5 day transfer. What do you ladies think?? Should I call the Dr about the pain??? Megan

Martieroo: Is tylenol the only thing they said you could take? I know when I donated they prescribed me something to take, knocked me out for a 1/2 a day...but the next day I felt GREAT! I had an early morning ER, and was back to normal the next day..just a tad sore but nothing that messed with my daily schedule. Hoping you feel better. Tylenol does nothing for me though, I have to take Naproxen (Aleve)....but again, it might be a no no in this study I haven't gotten that far
