You can buy them at any drugstore and most larger groceries too (Walmart Supercenter, Target, Bi-Lo). Oh and atleast you get to give your own. I once was in the ICU and they insisted that the nurse had to give it to me....talk about making a stressful situation even more uncomfortable!

We have extra ones here at my house! LOL! They only had two packs at the drug store near me...so Mel and I both bought packs. So if you want one of those just let me know! I can run it by your hotel on my way to picking up Mel from the airport today.

It's not "REQUIRED", but it is recommended for a couple of reasons. 1) All the meds we are on and will be on can get you pretty blocked up if not prepared. 2) When doing the ER, I "heard" they don't want to accidentally hit your intestine if it's full. and 3) I "heard" that they don't want you accidentally going on the table when you get all nice and relaxed...lol.

I did it before hand (as humiliating as it seems) and it wasn't horrible. Mel didn't do it and ended up doing it three days later anyway because she was all stopped up. Janice didn't do it, but she had her little poop past concoction going so that has probably helped her. Just you need to do something at some point probably whether it's the enema, stool softeners or poop paste . HTH.

Actually, Melanee left me her "extra" enema and I have one left over still...so I have an "extra"...LOL. I can't believe we're talking about donating enemas...LMAO!!!

Melanee's flight doesn't get in until 4-ish, so if you can wait that long, just give me a buzz and I'll swing it by. I'll PM you my Cell...

You gals are funny. Some doctors want you to do the fleet enema, while others don't really care. Just like some OB doctors will have you do one before delivery, and others would rather you not (they want it solid if it slips out, so they can clean it up quickly). I plan on keeping up with the prunes/kashi/fiber through the whole process....so I won't have to endure the enema

I was told yesterday at the clinic to start on the stool softeners. She said don't even wait for progesterone just start now.

Yeah, I started stool softeners the day of my ER last time too...I guess there is something in the meds when they do the ER that can make you stopped up more too. Here's hoping we can all stay REGULAR!!!

I have one too that i don't need. I didn't do the enema. I just started eating poop paste and took 3 stool softeners the day of ER and was pretty ok. I still continue to take the stool softener once a day as per the instruction sheet you get for ER.

The peeing goes on and on and on!!! I'm still goin 2-3 times a night! For my ET yesterday, they were running about an hour behind so I peed and souldn't stop after 10 seconds. My was like, stop, stop, stop, and just couldn't do it so I drank another 24 ounces and that ended up being ok.
