Everything's fine, I guess. I'm getting crampy and cranky. Also, my tummy is looking like a pin cushion. Thanks for asking.

That's great Kari!!! Sounds like you should have several left to freeze too! Well, I know where he can go on Saturday nights...Time out #2 on El Dorado is where we all usually go. There are also several bars over towards Seabrook too. And several people go to Doc's upper deck over off of FM270 (Egret Bay Blvd). This one is close to my house if you remember how to get over to it. I'm sorry you are stuck at the Starbucks again. Have you tried checking into the hotel early??

I know I was already thinking I could do 2 FET if needed. I always have to have a back up plan. Not that I am thinking this isn't goint to work, but just have to think ahead. I called the hotel at 11:30 and the said to call back in 2 hrs to see if a room is available. I feel like this cycle has been picture perfect and hopefully will end picture perfect too.

Good luck Kari! Sounds like everything is going great so far! Maybe doing it on Mother's Day will be good luck.

I don't live in Clear Lake, but my family does, and there is a really cute new wine bar over on Bay Area Blvd and I-45, over by Taco Milagro and Panera. I don't know the name of it, maybe one of the Clear Lake ladies know it.

I emailed the project coordinator on clinicaltrials.gov about this study and this is her reply:

I apologize but enrollment has ended at all locations for the PGN-302 study.

Carrie Muller
Clinical Research Associate

So, I called & emailed 3 people at CORM and haven't heard anything. I'm hoping since I am already an established patient and have had all my blood work, U/S, consults, seminar, etc. that I could just jump in & take off in this study! I've been saving money for over 2 years to do this and I'm so ready!!!! I wish I would have found the study information out a couple of months ago! However, I had a consult at CORM in January and they never mentioned this study to me! And my insurance doesn't cover any IVF treatments or meds!! Errr!!!!
Good luck to all of you!

I am also in the Duramed Trial and just started my birth control and doxycycline pills. They make me really sick to my stomach and I get major headaches. Does anyone else have this side effect.

They don't want us to start our Doxycyclin pills until we start our Lupron, I'm soooo glad as BCP's side effects plus those that doxy has...I'd be really sick LOL

Kristen - Yes, my RE did a lap and that's how they found it. A lap is really the only way to 100% diagnose it. I really did love the RE that I was going to, she was very thorough. She wanted to do a lap and hysteroscopy as the last two diagnostic tests prior to moving forward w/whichever path we chose IUI or IVF and lo and behold I had stage 3/4 endo(found during the lap) and a uterine septum(found during the hysto). For some reason I thought they would have noticed the septum on the HSG, but I guess not, it's just more for the tubes. What you are describing sounds like it could possibly be endo, but I'm no Dr, lol.

We changed REs to be in the study, but if it doesn't work we will go back to my original RE. I will tell you that the nurse at the study office asked why I was going through w/the procedures if I had mostly made up my mind to do IVF vs IUI, almost talking me out of it. I am soooo glad that I didn't cxl it though, just to have it taken care of and moving forward being aware that it's there. However, that being said...she did say that Endo would not interfere w/IVF...maybe bring it up to your RE and see what they say?

Kristen - I'll have to check w/my brother and sister as to which Timeout they go to, but I know one of them was a pretty regular hangout for a long time...they are younger than me. My sister Joanna is 30(hubby is Carlos), brother JR is 27(wife is Kelly)...just thought I'd throw the names out on the off chance that you would possibly somehow know them, now THAT would be funny.
