I've had a rollercoaster of a day today. I had a bit of follicle growth since Thursday and my E2 level went from about 450 to over 1200. I still have to go back on Monday to have a scan before triggering. That means my ER and ET both moved forward a day. I had to call work and get Monday changed around and change my vacation days so I can be off. I'm exhausted from getting up and to the doctor so much, and having to rush back to go to work and school. My boss was understanding, but it's tough to never be in control.

Heather,
Hello my name is Amber. I am part of the study at CORM and am also new to this whole forum thing. Out of concern today I began searching the web to see if anyone was out there posting info. about the study. I wanted to know what others are experiencing with the ring. We had our retrieval on April 29th and our ET on May 2. We are supposed to have our preg. test on the 13th. On the 7th when I was changing the ring for the first time I began having the same signs you described. It stopped that day and then I noticed it again on the 9th. As of now if has not stopped. I like you was very upset, but we have to stay hopeful. Part of me thinks it is the ring causing irritation because it doesn't look like my normal period. Stay strong, the best thing we can do for our babies right now is to stay calm and hopeful. I hope I am not over stepping any boundaries. I just wanted you to know that there are others having the same signs you have.
I'm here if you have any questions.

Isn't it hard when our doggies know we're upset. They want to comfort us....but don't know how (well, other than the licking and the pawing at us LOL). I've never been a good 'night' person, but you wake me up at 4am and I'm ready to go My husband on the other hand LOVES to stay up....so we make a good pair.

Crying is good for you anyway, on another board we were talking about movies that make us cry and someone had 'THE AUDACITY! Amber Glad to see someone else chiming in on the ring and it's side effects I really do think a lot of it could be irritation, they say other forms of vaginal progesterone all cause irritation...so this one is probably no different (especially since it stays in for a week!). I'm still on BCP's but I'm glad to see so many women ahead of me in the study so I can have lots of 'knowledge' when I get there

Thumbs up Update

I had my ET yesterday and the Dr. put back 2 beautiful blast Everything went smooth with the transfer, the hardest part was having to be there with a full bladder at 8:15 and then not have the ET until 11:30! I'm at home resting now and praying that my littles embies snuggle in tight

i'm officially out! thanks for all the support, and i wish every one luck in getting their BFP's!

i would appreciate it if no one made me a beta thread. thanks in advance!

i'm going to take a little break from treatment and lose the 15lbs i have put on. hell, i might even make it 20. at least that's one thing i have control over in my body. after that i'm going to try and talk the hubby into doing one more fresh cycle with his sperm. he's wanting to go the donor sperm route, so we'll see.

what's killing me is that i've become pregnant before, without treatments, with his sperm 2 1/2 years ago. his count was around 20 million at the time. ever since then, we've done countless iui's and 2 fresh ivf/icsi cycles. nothing! my head is spinning!

also, i'm not leaving this place. i truly want to see miracles happen and all of you gals are awesome again, thank you all so much for your support, and i'm hoping to see lots of dreams come true!

Unhappy Well....

Okay...today is day 6 after my 5 day transfer.

I have not had any symptoms until today - I have cramps and I had a tinge of red.

I feel like the wind has been let out of my sails.

How much do the meds cost for at FET?

Maybe it could be the ring...maybe?

Megan

Unhappy More TMI...

It was when I wiped up by the ring...just to see - with all of the irritation talk.

I think that it would be too late for implantation according to the day chart.

The placenta should be starting to produce the HCG today...

Today is the day! ET is scheduled at 2:30 today and I am all ready to get it over with. Since being here since the 24th I haven't been able to keep track of the days too well. Well, yesterday I kept freaking out that I had my days mixed up and we would miss the ET. We went to Galveston for the day and then ate at Texas T-bones for dinner. I have a very good feeling today : )

Heather-

I wish there was something I could say or do to make you feel better and take some of your pain away. Just know that I'm here if you want to talk. We could meet sometime if you wanted as well, thinking of you...
