Hey April Sisters,

yeah... glad to see i wasn't the only one experiencing technical difficulties... i was staring to get worried.
today has been a little tuff as i am still trying to absorb the news that my RE is leaving the practice to return to research and i just started with him 6 months back b/c he was the best ever pgd specialist. so now i will be seeing his partner who is suppose to be great too but in ivf and not as experienced in pgd. but i will keep talking it up until i think the same of the partner who really is nice.... good thoughts...

so i really was worried and wanted to see the replies about the ER as it is my first time and well i am a little nervous. not to mention i got the letter from my RE today just after they scheduled my ER and i sure would have appreciated being told in person as i am an active client not just an open case. and wouldn't you kow it was dated April 1st.... a big fat april fools i wish it were.... okay more positiveness..

so my levels are great at 3825 not that it means much to me but they said great so yippy and i have 21 follies that are between 15-22mm which i do understand means there are getting ripe and please dear God let me have lots of mature eggs. I really need lots because of my issues and the pgd needs more than normal not that i know what normal is either.

so my update.... is ER on 4/6 and i am just guessing that my ET will be 4/11 and i think it means betas on 4/25..... but i am still a little confused. although you have all been awesome sisters in keeping me straight and making me feel like my crash course has been good.
I did my novarel inj tonight and they said to ignore the box and do it subq so i did. the site had a mild burning sensation and a brief redness less red splotchy than the ganirellix so i guess all is well. and now i realize the headaches have been part of this too. silly me.

so i try to follow all the post but i am still learning this too.... and wow you ladies have been super busy today... so i did more skimming at this ridiculous hour than reading b/c my eyes are burning bad.

Traci.... thanks for the list and as always , oh and congrats on the early retirement.... i hope you get to be SAHM soon.... oh and i just saw something else on that wo-man transgender pregnant guy and well he was a pretty woman too... now i just think it is all unfair.. beautiful woman, handsome man, super weird not sure what, easily pregnant. lol... but heck if he can get pregnant ... so can we.
Irene thanks for the support. i just feel so outside myself with all this info but truthfully i need to know. i am one of those worries so best to know.

Cathy thank for all the list updates too and i pray to God i don't have your experience.... i want it to be all good in case of my needing more rounds.

Holy smokes, ladies. I had my ER on Thursday, 4/3 (just a day later than planned) and they retrieved 51 eggies and 45 fertilized! You read it right, 51 and 45. I could not believe it myself.

They plan on doing a 5-day transfer on Tues. 4/8, again, later than they expected. And my doc only wants to transfer one embryo and freeze the rest for future attempts. Wow, we are really playing the game of chance, eh?

The flip side is I am suseptible for OHSS (lots of abdominal fluid yesterday), so they put me on strict bed rest with a high protein diet and Gatorade only. No water whatsoever. And I am popping the Vicodin like it is going out of style!

So this weekend I am going to rest up and get ready for ET on Tuesday. I'll let you know how it all goes.

Well, it seems insomnia has kicked in and I really want to go to sleep and wake up and it be Sunday then go to sleep and wake up and it be ER.....wishful thinking!

Irena_adler - So yep, sounds like we are hand in hand. I am doing 20 units of Lupron along with the Follistim. We will have to keep each other update after Sundays visit. My appt is at 8:30 but the office is an hour away from home. Where abouts are you located? I am in Northwest Florida.. .(Gulf Breeze)

Okay, so I wonder does all the bloating go away after E/R or E/T or do we just keep the belly growing from here? I swear I look a few months prego. One of the side effects was suppose to be sore boobs.....I dont have that yet! Is that after you start the progesterone shots?

Well, I guess I will go have my (not so fun) DECAF coffee.

That is an insane number of eggs!!!!!!!!! Congrats! How many follies did you have? Why only transfer one? I thought that most RE's transfer 2? I guess since I know I can only afford to do this once and really only want to do it once I am wanting them to definitly put in 2 and if not great quality maybe 3. But I am older than you so as they say the older the less chance you have! Man that number of eggs really does blow my socks off!!!! Do you think accupuncture contributed to your success? I have been going 2 times a week.......but my RE was against taking the herbs but my husband is!

Ladybug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have NEVER heard of so many eggs being retrieved!!! And then getting 45 fertilised! Shouldnt you be transferring 2 embies????

Ok- question, I got AF big time yesterday. Will it be a normal cycle if I start stims today? Please no..nothing like anxiety from IVF and endo.

So, I have little story. My sisters both live in AZ with kids. My nephew, who is 12 called last night. We are super close ( I helped deliver him). Anyhow, his moom is having her thryoid removed on the 15th and he goes "Aunt Rachel can you come here and help You always make sure everything is fine" First..omg how much do I love him. Secondly, so ssad because normally I would but I can't because of IVF. I can't explain this too hom. I just said " Logan, Uncle Kurt and I are trying to get pregnant and it is not as easy as we had hoped so I have to stay." I FEEL HORRIBLE!! Not a big story but just made me sad.

Take my first shot in 1.5 hrs!!!I can't believe I am starting...

Okay you cant tell a bunch of hormonal women stories like that and expect them not to be sad too!!!! That is awesome that he believes in you. . . You give him comfort! That is so sweet! I think if you stay in touch with him via phone through the process, he will be just fine!

baby- sorry for the sad story. I kow he will be fine. I just have never not come when he has asked. They are "my kids". He has no idea that his normally stable, calm aunt is currently a freak!!

I have been reading posts about bed rest...my doc had me do 2 strict and 1 moderate last time...it worked!!! So I'm going with that again...I will go back to work on the 1 moderate because my job is not labor intensive.
I'm still very crampy...and I still had some spotting yesterday (my ET was Thurs)...I'm sharing this with you all so you know it can happen...other women have zero issues after ER.
