You are moving ahead of me! It looks as if I have to stim for 2 or 3 days more.....I have lots of follies just not growing as fast as needed. Congrats on your great RE news today!!!! I so was ready to stop doing all the dang injections! Oh well.......I go back Tuesday am for b/w and u/s.....he is thinking thurs or even friday now. I guess I need to be patient since I want good mature eggs! Isnt there a saying "good things come to those who wait?"!

I have been in the funkiest of all funks today. I woke up mad, can't really call it waking up b/c I haven't slept and Ive just been in a rotten mood with an eyeball ache for 2 days and DH isn't helping at all. I just get the speech about how I don't need to take my bad mood out on him. I guess Ive been snappish but not THAT bad. I mean I literally could blow up and snap his neck so to me just snapping seems minor hehehe. I'm just mad at the world right now for no reason. What's wrong with that???

nothing wrong with that This is what happens with IVF!!! No fun at all.

I was awake most of the night myself and ended up being sick to my stomach most of the day. I talked myself out of doing the elliptical but then felt guilty so after the race I jumped on it and did 25 minutes I burned 387 calories. So i'm sweaty and still sick to my stomach UGHHHH.

I also cleaned out the candle area of our house (we make candles for a side business) when our baby comes home we are turning that into a nursery so i figured I'd start today

thanks for you sweet words Traci and Cathy. You two are so admirable and heck i feel like i have personal cheerleaders in you girls.

So i am praying for goodness for you as well.

And Tracey, we all get in a funk from time to time... so tell hubby to can it and let you be. i do that from time to time too! whether it is natuaral or induced hormones... it is just life. and while things may be gloomy today it is okay. i always try to appreciate the crappy days for without them we would have no scale of measurement to know when things are really good. so may your funk serve a purpose and when it is all good again may you really feel the difference.
Sadly opposite feelings are needed. As we would never know that happiness was so good if we never felt sad. I hope you get out of it soon but do appreciate the moment your in. May things be splendid for you again soon.

Cathy - I am so impressed that you have been exercising..I have been feeling so guilty because you would think that I would want to get in shape and try to keep the pounds down now more than ever but instead I just ate a whole bag of double chocolate milano cookies in 2 days. I mean seriously, the insanity needs to stop..I will be better tomorrow

I know all about the turkey, pineapple and the grapejuice for the 2WW..what about now..is there anything special I should be eating/drinking to help grow these follies??

I should have been doing this all along I lost 25 pounds last year had surgery in August lost all motivation and gained it all back. I haven't lost a thing since I started exercising 6 weeks ago I'm just hope it will help with this IVF.

Thanks for responding to my dilemma...we decided not to freeze because of the expense for one and because we really didn't think past this cycle..it's not positive thinking as much as it was naitivity...we would never have thought to freeze so we just said no...it's not too late to change my mind I guess...we will see how tomorrow goes..we go in first thing in the am.

HI to all! I just came across this forum, and would love to join...if it's not too late. I have my first baseline u/s on 4/09 and with much luck I can move on to the next step. My first IVF cycle got cancelled due to my BCP not being strong enough, and the lupron not having enough effect. I had two big follicles show up during my first u/s & only one went away after increasing lupron dosage. So, I am praying this time around we won't have the same problem!
This seems like such a great way to get through this whole process...I would love to get to know you all!

Hey, can you pass along how to make a turkey casserole? I do not cook (don't have time), so I have no idea how I will get my turkey intake! (do cold cuts work? lol)

Oh, and BTW, the reason RE says to BD more than 2 days but less than 5 days before ER is that the sperm need at least 48 hours to "build up" with good numbers before giving a sample the day of ER, but if the sperm for the sample are any older than 5 days old, they are more likely to have started losing quality (like lower motility, morphology, etc).
