because of the outcome of our first IVF we have decided to tell only a couple of people. My MIL not being one of them. She blames me she is right I'm the one at fault, but I don't need the stress she brings to my life.

I felt the same way after reading the post but copied and pasted to a few family and friends and I think when they read it they could understand how much I hurt for myself and my DH.

Cathy - It's hard for me to express my feelings face to face with others and I also shared that with some of my family and close friends. It really says how we feel...It's not fair that we have to go through this and feel this way, but for some reason we do. I pray that this is our month too! How's the exercising going? I've been trying to eat better, but haven't gotten myself to start exercising yet...I don't really like exercise.

the last two days have been great for exercising the eating I need to do better. I'm fine at school all day but once I hit home it is horrible.

I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow to have some rest. I'm still really tired from the first IVF basically emotionally.

I think I'm doing ok with the eating part. I've been drinking water and trying to eat more fruits and veggies and less junk food. I just need to get my butt up off the couch and exercise! I work in the billing dept at a hospital and it's a desk job. So I sit all day long. You would think I would have energy when I get home, but I'm always worn out! I make dinner and then usually crash on the couch the rest of the night. Now I have been doing a little bit of stuff around the house due to the remodeling, but nothing too strenuous! LOL!!! Tomorrow I plan on cleaning the house so that will give me some exercise there.

I'm starving right now. I have chili in the crock pot for dinner and it smells so good! DH won't be home for 45 more minutes...I hope I make it!

I understand completely what you are saying about surprising DH with the positive. I have told my hubby that he is not allowed to ask, I'll just let him know one way or the other. I told him how important it is to me to be able to surprise him. He was very understanding of this need. We haven't told anyone when we are starting our cycle. My mom knows I'll be starting meds soon, but has no idea about how any of this works. We are planning to wait 3 months (hopefully) before telling family. I'm sure if the IVF doesn't work, we will share with them that we tried and failed. I reason it out by thinking if DH and I were going to BD, we wouldn't call and tell our family about it...........that's a funny thought to me.

Hi Jenn! Thanks for making an April list. I am currently in the 2WW for my last IUI. If this does not work then I will most likely start 3 weeks of BCPs on 3/9 for a ER in April. Sending lots of to all the April girls!

I'm glad that you posted about this, even if it's a downer. I think we need to allow people not to be up and positive all the time, but to express their depression, rant, rail about the unfairness of it all.

As for being denied the surprise of telling people you're PG, I'm not telling many people that we're doing IVF, so there will be plenty of people to surprise. I think that you should tell who you want to and no more about the FET so that you have a surprise if it works.

I was going over my calendar and in comparison to others on the board, it seems a little on the "dragging out" side! I started bcp's on 2/16 and am supposed to stay on them until Lupron on 3/24 and stop bcp's on 3/28. Then Gonal-F and Menopur until er tentative on 4/17. Seems like alot longer schedule than others... Is this due to my age? (42) Although my fsh is 7 and all my other bloodwork came out great! ?? Any opinions?

Boy, this is hard on my eyes with all the different colors. I must be weird. I was going to put it all in order by dates, but I didn't want to offend anyone by changing the list around. I did notice that I'm on Lupron quite a few days before everyone else. I know our protocols are all different, but I wonder why I have to have more than the rest of you. If I could get away with fewer injections I would be happy.

Kelly..........when to you have that sono done?

Janice..........I know you have to wait for AF again. Will she come any day or do you have to wait until AF in March.

To those of you trying to eat better, I feel your pain. I have struggled with eating proper my whole life. I'm one of those people who likes a few fruits and veggies. It's always been a struggle, but I find if I do things in small steps its easier. I try to have at least one green veggie a night with dinner. I am such an addict, that we can't keep cereal in the house and the only chips allowed in the house are tostito chips to dip with hot sauce. I feel I can validate that since hot sauce helps speed up the metabloism. Enough boring you about me............Have a great day!!

Got the sonagraphy done on Monday! No scar tissue, no cysts from the d&c...I am extremely happy! I didnt ask what my lining looked like though. Do you think I should of? Anyway, I am all set to start cycling whenever I want. Because I do not take BCP's or do lupron...I start stims on day 3 of AF.

DH and I have decided to wait until April!! I just recalculated and I will post a new estimated timeline....

Do you have a history of cysts or high levels of androgen?
