Question: Would you do the Same??

Ladies, I'm a flight attendant and I am concerned about going back to work before I have my pregnancy test. At work we have to push heavy liquor/food carts up and down, pick up bins of soda, lift suitcases. And I know I can't do any heavy lifting over 10 lbs, so in my mind that means no work. Then if it turns out I get a I wouldn't want to work in the 1st trimester, 'cuz I wouldn't want to be exposed to all the germs, extra radiation.
Sometimes I feel like I'm being rational then other times I feel like I am being too paranoid. Would you guys feel the same way?

Sorry about the long post...just need to get it off my mind. Thanks for reading.

I would do what makes you feel most comfortable. This is a lot of time, energy and money to be doing stuff that isn't comfortable for you in the first 2 weeks. Let your mind and body be the judge. My RE says back to normal activities after the first 24 hours I'm not doing that this time though

We have a lot of ERs and ETs here today! April is really hopping along! I am happy to report that my constipation is on the mend...hopefully permanantly! I talked to my RE and she didn't seem worried. Then I have been taking my colace, metamucil, took 120 ounces of gatorade/water yesterday, and eating lots of fiber. Stay away constipation!

thanks

You all would have been proud of me today I confronted everyone that has been nasty!!! I went to stop a rumor and everyone was like oh we didnt' do that yeah right. I confronted my classroom aide today and she turned her issues back onto me and I wouldn't let her I treated her like I would a 4 year old and did problem solving skills on her she didn't have a clue to what I was doing. Yobaby-I'm like Cathyh. My clinic told me to resume normal activities after 48 hours, but I decided to take the whole week off of work. My job isn't physcially exterting typically, but every now and then I'm asked to lift things well over 10 lbs, so I decided I would take "Spring Break" after my ET.

Like Cathy said, do what you feel your body and mind is telling you. Many women get pregnant after doing tons of exercise and working out like crazy. Just make sure that you can feel good about everything whatever the result, you know? Hope that helps!

Thumbs up Started stims this morning

I made it through the menopur injection this morning. DH got both of my injections ready this morning which he loves to do. The menopur did burn going in and I felt nauseous afterwards, but that went away pretty quickly. Unfortnately, I am in the midst of a migraine. Not sure if it's from the menopur. Tonight I inject follistim. I am excited to be at the next step in this process!

Congrats Carrbear! I am so excited for you. Isn't it amazing to finally be on stims? Time will FLY now that you are doing all your meds. Wishing you happy injections! (with minimal burning!)

Good for you for saying what's on your mind! I hate work gossip and rumors.

When does DH go in for his surgery? My dad had sleep apnea surgery and it helped, but he does have to use a cpap machine.

I'm still pretty uncomfortable from the ER. Feels like my bladder is super inflated but when I go to the bathroom, it's just normal and doesn't help the feeling. Planning on taking it easy today.
Congrats on the 9 fertlized eggs! DH and I are also doing icsi with ivf. You should be very excited!

It's hard not to compare yourself to others, huh? Especially ladybug with her gazillion eggs - her RE probably had to go out and buy a new incubator. 9 sounds good to me, that gives you good odds of transferring some and freezing a few!

yobaby, this is a great place and a little addictive.

So my results which i was unsuccessful at posting the chart and think that my have been the cause for the lost post.... there are good but not great .... and i am only praying that at least one takes but i would be glad to have all. So out of the 12 embabies... only 3 are normal and 1 possibly normal. A few others would be compatible with life but severe complications and most would have been miscarriages. so i am thankful to be spared but still wishing they were all normal. Anyway i am blessed to have three and i am praying that when i get to my ET that those 3 goodies are still growing cells.... please God....let my embabies make it.

Okay my best thoughts are also with you girls. lets keep April hopping with hope and December -Jan popping with babies.
Gracie, I'll be thinking about you and praying for your 3 embryos.
