Pronounced with a J sound. That meaning fits me perfectly........sometimes. LOL!!

While we try to eat better, I still have my choco when I need it. We also indulge in Mexican food on the weekends.

Hello everyone, I finally have a home. I met with RE today following our failed IVF#3 and here are the details:

The appointment went better than I expected. We will be doing FET in April. RE said the 2 frosties are better quality then any that I have put back so far. He also said that their thaw rate is really good, like 97% . They have improved upon some technique created in either Japan or China, its called Embryo Vitrification. I dont really know much about yet, but you know I will be on google all night checking it out...LOL.
I started BCP today. I need my yearly pap. I have that scheduled for March 31st (knowing me AF will show, so nurse said to continue BCP till that day so we can continue with no bumps in the road).
RE wants to personally do another saline ultrasound( I had one in June), just so he can be sure with his own 2 eyes that all is good (last time I went to one of their other clincs because they were pretty backed up). They squeezed me in for March 14th at 1PM.
RE also wants to personally do the FET so I already know it will be on a Thurs because that is the day he is at the IVF office.
I have to schedule b/w and u/s for April 4th. So I guess I am out of Limbo and currently an April ET girl.

Looking forward to hanging with you all and getting our BFP together.

I'm glad you have a home now and a plan. Sorry you have had 3 failed IVF's - you are overdue girl! I hope this is the one! I have my saline u/s on the 12th - woohoo and I had my pap last friday! Lots of crotch appts I tell ya.

It sounds like your RE is really stepping up and I read something about a new thawing process for Embryos that is supposed to be better so I'm sure that is what he is doing for you.

I'm no expert and I'm starting next week without knowing when things will be or if they will be taking place for us in April. I'm hoping the RE says yes lets try this again. I guess I'm worried cause I only had 5 eggs and only 3 fertilized but werne't the best quality. UGHHH so much to worry about.

I'm really trying not to get my hopes up because I am a 39 y.o. high FSHer.

nothing like awaiting AF funny how she is welcome when we are getting started with IVF.

I have elevated FSH as well and we have hope. Stay positive. I'm starting accupuncture to get mine lowered and help with the outcome for this IVF.

I won't be starting BCP's probably for a couple of weeks. AF isn't due until the 17th or so she'll be late cause I want her to arrive this month.

Maggie - thanks for the well wishes! I hope all of us see . I definitely follow-up on the ladies with January due dates. Your son is beautiful!

As for acupunture, I wish that was big were I live but I only found one person and she apparently is no longer in business!

As for diet, I have tried all the tricks (except the turkey) and this time around, I have decided to allow it to be natural instead of stressed. However, I do like the organic fruits so I may stock up on that while I am off work resting after the ER and ET.

I just had my injection training, and now I'm stressed! It really brought home to me the whole complex process. I didn't realize that my DH would need to give me the IM shots since they're in my rear-end, so I didn't take him with me to the training and now he has to go later. I've been taking on as much as this IVF process as I can since he's depressed and upset about it.

irena dont be stressed..not a good time for it ...just breathe all will be well ....and as for the im shots even though they look big n scary the lumen is usually 25 gauge..heck when we get flu shots there usualy a 21 much bigger ....and ask ur nurse at ur last u/s to circle the area where dh is gonna give you the shot itll help him out a lil the the anxiety... i use to do this with my student when i taught pharm..

Depending on what your RE wants you on, some stims can be IM, like Repronex. And your trigger could be IM or sub-q. You could get lucky and have only sub-q. But IM is really not that bad, even the dreaded PIO.
