Yes I believe someone in February was successful after having their tubes tied. Seems to me, but just me guessing, that if you have been pregnant once you have a great shot of having this work for you.

Do you know when you start Stims? I will add you to the April list

Hey

No I have not lost weight yet!!!!!!!!!!! I think the DHEA is having something to do with that but I"m not stopping it cause it has been seen to have more egg production and better embryo quality so I have to outweigh (ha ha) the benefits.

I don't know why you'd be gone hmmmmmmmmm maybe with all the copying and pasting someone maybe me copied the wrong list at some point.

Sorry you had such a bad experience with your shots!! I have a tip for you--for the menopur, since you have to mix the powder with the liquid, if the powder is not COMPLETELY dissolved, it will sting more than if it is. So, what you need to do is mix the 2 together, agitate the vial a little, then let it sit for a few minutes. Then draw it up and give it to yourself. This should relieve the burn a little bit. For the follistim, how did you do it? That was one shot that I never, ever even felt at all. No sting--nothing. Try leaving the follistim pen with the medicine out of the fridge for about half an hour before you give it to yourself. I have heard that sometimes when girls give it to themselves right out of the fridge it can be more uncomfortable than if you let it get a little more to room temp. Hope that helps!

Hi I am 34 and my husband is 36 too. He has bilateral varieceole and I have endometriosis-one fallopian tube, one ovary as a result of having a large cyst removed 3 years ago.
I am starting IVF probably late April early may. This is my first time with IVF. We did one IUI and it failed but the dr. feels that it won't work so he does not want us to do more IUI's.

Good luck. YOu are probably starting before me. But i am on here so I will see how you are doing.

silly question ... i know im suppose to rotate injection sites and when i first started off they didnt hurt at all...like nothing poke n done now its like...hard to penetrate the skin..and hurts is this common ? what am i doing wrong ...now with the stim starting im realy goin to run out of areas ...which is almost inpossible wit the belly(gut) i got ...can some one give some advice on were to stick all 3 ... and be nice ...lol xxoo

The follistim I didn't feel anything I think I was just already feeling yucky after doing the menopur and I think I am going to do it last tonight....and I will try letting it set for an extra minute or so to make sure it's all dissolved.... I am sure it was just all a little overwhelming for me and I bet tonight's will go better. Thanks for your help.

I was able to mix all my injections into one so I only had one poke. I did have to switch sides every night or it would hurt like H*LL

if I didn't.

Two of my Lupron ones hurt a bit...maybe just a bad spot in the skin.... try to remember to pinch the skin I have noticed when I don't pinch it hard enough it is harder to get the needle in. I was kinda wondering the same thing about how I am gonna find a spot for all of these... looks like the menopur leaves a little bruise so I'll know where that one went I think below the belly button off to either side a bit are the easiest spots... I am definately no expert if you've seen my pp about my first stims shots but I am hoping that I am getting better... good luck to you
