Wow ladies..you are making want to jump the next plane to Fertility Island!
Nursesunshine..I am so jealous! What sends you to Barbabos for IVF? Are you from there? I would love to be able to lay out on the beach during my 2ww. Rachhorch...I have never heard of the Scott protocol.. JerseyJ&J...Menopur was definitely my least favorite shot. I cringed everytime DH injected it into me. I had to grip a pillow on the sofa while he injected it because it burned so much. Cathy...so sorry about all your mishaps..Its so ironic that you hurt your nose and then your DH has to go to an ENT for a problem with his nose. I hope your noses recover soon and that April brings you much better luck. Yeah...April is almost here...come on nice Spring weather.

Isabel..I was reading your thread about oral hygeinie. I have a question though..
I recently moved and found an appointment with a dentist nearby but the soonest they can get me in is around my 2ww. Well since I'm new to this practice they need to take x-rays of all my teeth. Is there a way they can take pictures of my teeth without getting the radiation or is there a way to protect myself from the radiation? I have a tooth that's been bothering me so I was so hoping to get it checked out but the x-ray thing has me scared during my 2ww. Thanks for the great posting...I tend to slack on my oral hygeine at times so any gentle pushing to take care of my teeth helps. Ironically, my DH hadn't been to the dentist in about 3 years and he just went to one the other day due to a sore tooth and found out he had 7 cavities. I couldn't believe it!

crazy! I had a question for Isabela too and I see Amy has already asked it!! I have 2 qestions though and one was similar to amys - is it really safe to get an xray done at this point? I want to protect my ovaries as much aspossible - I may go get them cleaned next week while I"m on Lupron.
My 2nd question is... what do you think of the sonic care toothbrushes  Thanks Isabela! oh, I almost forgot... COUNTDOWN TO APRIL = 4 more days!

My BFF parents live in Barbados and we were going to visit this summer but since I now have a huge IVF bill, I am going to have to pass  .Littleladysky - thanks for the info. on Reponex. Isabel - Chocolate covered men...can I say YUMMY! CathyH - you are just having one rough time but I know it will get better for you. Sorry about your nose and DH surgery. Irena_Adler - Yeah for  arriving.RachHorch - glad to hear you found out more about your protocal. Good Luck on it. Tracilynn - CONGRATS on getting IJ training. It is a lot of information but better to be informed than not to be informed. Jenn - Sorry to hear the menopur burns. I heard that Repronex is the same and I have to take this. Thanks ladies for the tips on how to make it not sting as bad. Well, please pray that I get today! I have an appt. tomorrow with RE and they need to be here before they will give me the final go ahead to start STIMS. When I went for my screening u/s on Tuesday my uterine lining was too thick and of course they saw the 2 masses. If does not start tomorrow, they may push me back but I am  she coming. Hopeful - I hope AF shows up soon so you can start your cycle! Will they just postpone it a week or what? I'm afraid I'll get some kind of bad news at my pre stim u/s & b/w appt too! I always have a cyst or wonky estradiol numbers.

So I had my last BCP yesterday night. When do I expect AF? Then when is ER? Day14 after AF? Or is it earlier?? I am so confused now!! My DH is flying in for ER on the 9th of April! But if I start AF tommorow then I think he has to fly in a cpl of days earlier!!! Can anyone tell me their experiences?
My RE isnt very communicative and I like to know everything well in advance so I can have atleast SOME control over my life!!!

I hope you get good reports tommorow! best of luck starting the stimms. What IS exactly good b/w and u/s report? What can go wrong? I also go in for b/w and u/s on day2 of AF and then start stimms!

Monday I went for my baseline - the report was that i had 6 follis on one and 5 on the other. Tuesday gave my injection of the Cetrotide. (which hurt) Today I went in and got b/w and u/s....which shows 5 follis on each. So, hopefully I will get the call to start stims tonight or in the morning. I cant believe the time is finally here!!!!
This journey is so consuming - I cant get anything done....like taxes!!! April 15th is coming just as quick as the er/et on the 9th!!!!oh well . . . babies are much more interesting than taxes!!!!
