Babycrzy-Nice report! THis is so exciting!

LadyR-They just want to check that you have no cysts, the uterine lining has thinned out, and that your progesterone/estrogen numbers are good. Since you have your , I don't think it will be a problem at all.

I have another Big Fat Lupron Headache. I'm drinking water like a dehydrated camel to try to keep it at bay. URGH! It's all in the name of my little babushkah(s)!

Traci - not sure what they will do. I think they may possibly reschedule for Saturday. They just told me that my lining was too thick. They need it thinned before I can start STIMS. I am that she comes. I can feel her - she is just not showing her face.

LadyR - thanks for the . Love the Playboy knickers ideas.

Prayingforbabies - glad to here you got free meds but so sorry about the Lupron headache.

CathyH - glad to hear things are much better today.

Can I just tell you guys that my DH is so sweet. He knows that I have been stressed and having insomnia that today he sent me "Just because" flowers to my office. All the men are jealous. I love him so.....

I am glad to see that everyone is on track and thank you again for a warm welcome. Yesterday I flew to Texas for a week while I am on BCP.. I am at the airport and I pick up a copy of people. There inside is a 6 page spread with JLO and her new born beautiful twins. Well I thought she concieved with IVF,, however in the artical she says that at 38 she concieved the twins natuarly Hmmm!! My BCP's are keeping me on edge already I do not even want to know what I will be feeling on LURON.....
I really want to go to the Island my swim suit is packed and ready to go................

In response to the question about why I'm going to Barbados: I wasn't crazy about the clinic I went through last time and no one asks why you are going to Barbados for a couple weeks

The cost is comparable to any other clinic so why not!

Baby dust to everyone!!

Yay, my cysts were gone! Now I just have to wait for the bloodwork to see where my Estradiol is and I get to start my stims tonight!

It's not all good news, though. DH's semen test from two weeks ago showed up some bacterial infections. They didn't actually tell us this, just handed me a perscription for antibiotics for him on the way out the door today. There's no time to do even a 7-day series of antibiotics then a retest to make sure that the infection is gone before he needs to give his sperm for the IVF! Also, I was so thrown at the time that I didn't even notice that they'd given him a perscription for a penicillon-based antibiotic and he's allergic to penicillon!! Zhesh, don't people read their own medical files before prescribing things? I didn't realize what it was until after getting it filled. Now I have a call in with my IVF coordinator/RN to try and figure out what to do. If they'd only told us this weeks ago!

Ritu - yes, we definitely want the nuts in the right places! Last BCP! WOOHOO! Scratch that off your IVF "to do" list girl! You are one step closer to the BFP!

prayingforbabes has one more BCP - WHOOPWHOOP! you're right behind Ritu! I hope your b/w and u/s is great and you will get to use those free stims! that's nice and you deserve it! After I get my BFP in may (thinking positively) I will donate my stims too.
Oh, I had a question for you - what was the drink you liked over gatorade b/c of the calories? was it propel?

Cathy - I'm glad your day is better!

Babycrzy - yes, follies are more fun to think about than taxes. I haven't done mine yet either!

Hopeful7 - yep, your DH is a keeper. That is soooo sweet.

ladysky - your kitty avatar is so cute - is that your kitty?

Rana - do you believe that about JLO? I mean I she is like 40 years old - she has been spotted at fertility clinics for the 2 years prior to her pregnancy and she happens to have frat twins... hmmm, I guess it's possible - I can't see her making up a story. If it isn't true, why would she lie about it? I dunno - I digress.

nursesun - you lucky dawg. are you gonna be able to chat with us while you are living it up in Barbados having your IVF?

jersey - turkey? are you serious? A doctor said that? is there not an amino acid supplement out there that will work? I'm not a turkey fan.

irene- stims tonight! woohoo! I wonder how you get an infection in your semen? I can't believe that about the penicillin - you would think they would read those or at least ask you if he's allergic when they write out the px. It's always something, isn't it?

Well 2 more days til I start my loopy lupron and 4 more days til April. yahoo

this is interesting news on turkey someone else mentioned it as well. So I bought this big turkey to roast when I start stims.

I tried the pineapple and grape juice thing with the first IVF it didn't work for me though.

Ok, ok. I just talked with my IVF coordinator. Apparantly this test takes a while to get results, so they probably just came in a day or so ago. She is going to call in a new antibiotics prescription (Cipro) that I'll pick up tonight. She sees no problem with getting the antibiotics done before DH needs to give his part for the IVF. *whew*

My blood test came back fine, so I get to start the stims! Unfortunately I read the schedule wrong so I don't get to start until tomorrow. Ah well, another sleepless night ... Then I'll do those meds for four days and get a blood test on 4/1 to check how I'm responding. On to the next benchmark!

Tracilynn - it's more the presence of bad bacteria than a stereotypical infection. DH and I just got over long brutal colds that probably had DH's immune system down and vulnerable.

Yipee so glad you are getting closer to starting!!!

When I've taken cipro before it made me vomit so make sure DH has something to eat with it.
