I am starting Lupron on Sunday and I am so nervous! I almost did not get it in time. When I went to the pharmacy today they told me they could not get it in until Monday!!! But then when I told them I NEEDED to start taking it on Sunday they somehow came up with a kit. Have any of you tried the mail order pharmacies or do you do retail? I didn't know whether it made sense to do mail order and get all the meds at once in case something happens and the cycle gets cancelled...
How are everyone else's injections going?

Carrbear - I order my meds through IVPcare - they were wonderful! I ordered them yesterday - FEDEX tried to deliver today. No one was home (I forgot DH had a lunch date) so IVPcare called me to tell me they were monitoring delivery and it was not delivered because no one was home. I thought - what WONDERFUL service. I get to pick mine up from FEDEX directly. I did get my Lupron from the local pharmacy because they were cheaper than IVPcare but they are pretty well stocked up because my RE's office sends everyone there. The other thing about IVPcare - I have ordered Follistim through them twice now so they gave me a discount on the order. Sorry - didn't mean to ramble but they are just wonderful.

LadyBug20601- WOOHOO! You are getting way close - Monday or Tuesday. I am jealous.

For both of my cycles I have use Freedom, they will deliver by next day (morning), they were actually really professional and also they call me to confirm that I had received the medication.

Thanks Hopeful. I actually called IVPcare to get a quote and they are supposed to call me sometime this afternoon. Did you have all of the meds delivered (other than the injectables)? It's good to hear they have such a good reputation.

Do you know if Lupron needs to be refrigerated? Thanks, C

I use ascend and they ship everything to me. They are so nice and call when they get the prescription and talk about what you will be taking.

Yes - all my meds were delivered together. I did refrigerate my Lupron just to make sure that it stays at the temperature listed.

ARGH!!!!!!! I am in the same exact boat. My lining was 9mm yesterday and they told me that's too thick and that I can't start my estrace until AFTER arrives. I hate that!!!!!!! Brangelina are having twins? - wow -I didn't know that! cool.

irene - my acu was much better today. One of the needles hurt again and I said - it hurts and he twisted it and I said, "It still hurts and I don't like it - TAKE IT OUT" and he did- LOL. Then he gave 2x B-12 shots in my aZZ - I guess that was payback.

Ladybug - 35 follicles!? - WOW! your over achiever you! and you KNOW JLO and marc did have IVF - I mean come on! I wonder why they are hiding it? They at least did IUI!
At least Brangelina is admitting they had help but if she is so fertile I wonder why they needed help??

hopeful Nikki - I'm glad your masses are gone and I hope AF shows up soon.. I'm LOL at the the wearing white pants comment - hahaha so- true! I hope AF shows this weekend so you can get started.

jersey - that amino acid must by tryptophan - its the one that makes you sleepy when you eat turkey too. I wonder if it's part of a "sticky" protein present in lining (I have a BS in Biology...) very interesting...Hell, I 'll try it!

Carrbear - I start Lupron Sat - we will be cycle buddies or at least Lupron buddies! We can evaluate our weird lupron side effects together.

I'm an IVF nut too Ritu - "ba domp bomp - chi" *drum sounds*

I just came back from my RE's office. I will be starting Lupron on 03/31. When I picked up my meds from a local pharmacy, they told me that none of my meds needed to be refridgerated but my nurse said that after I draw up the first 10U to refridgerate it.

Is anyone starting Lupron around 03/31?

Hi Carrbear, I have been refrigerating my Lupron also. I just assumed that was what I was supposed to do anyway

I have used Freedom Pharmacy and Professional Pharmacy, and both have been just wonderful. The funny thing is when I received my IVF meds before starting this cycle, I had to literally sneak the box out of work because the package was HUGE and looked totally suspicious--white styrofoam with all of this red and black tape on the outside! I unfortunately had to sign for it because no one was home during the day so I had them send it to my job.
