IVF in April anyone?
Hi there everyone. I have been a lurker here for quite some time now! The amount of support and goodwill flowing out here is quite incredible!! When I couldnt conceive at first, I used to lurk around the General infertility forums, then when we discovered DH's azoospermia, I found all my answers here on the IVF forum. Thanks to you lovely people, nothing was a shock to me, it was as if I knew what to expect AND that there was lots of hope for me. Someday I WILL be a mommie.
 So now we are going through IVF/ICSI in April 2008. I would be starting my bcp's in March. Want buddies to make this journey easier for me Thanks and God bless you all

Ritu Me-34 (Slight PCOS) DH-36 (Azoospermia-CBAVD) TTC- Since June 2006 DH had MESA/TESE end of Nov 2007, found millions of sperm! IVF/TESA- March-April 2008 ER-4/11/2008- 12 eggs, 11 fertilised, froze 6 embies ET-4/14/2008- 3 embies with AH (2 - 8cells GradeA, 1 - 7cell GradeB) HPT- 9dp3dt- Negative HPT-11dp3dt- Positive!! Beta#1-4/29/2008- 423 (15dp3dt) BFP!!! Beta#2-5/2/2008- 2155 (18p3dt) First u/s 5/6/08- TRIPLETS!!! Third u/s 5/27/08- Down to TWINS (8 weeks 3 days) Heavy bleeding with clots for 4 days in week 9 and a whole month of spotting! But both the babies are fine!! Heavy bleeding with clots again in week 15 My babies arrived in the 30th week(on 10/21/08) and are on the ventilator in the NICU

ER u/s (spotting) 6/4 - Measuring 10 W 2 D - H.R. 174 BPM 2nd OB appt. 6/26 - H.R. of 161/164 BPM OB appt 7/29 - Bloodwork; H.R. of 156 BPM Level II u/s - August 21st.It's a Girl! 9/18 - Everything looks good 10/16 GT test - passed. Low iron and low lying placenta. 10/30 Things look great. Blood draw to check on iron. 11/13 - u/s...still low lying placenta. Everything looks good. Need to watch babies abdomen. Thanks Nikki! Lets hope April is lucky for us. Lots of ladies from last years April thread had their babies in Dec-Jan.
We will get our fair share of BFPs too!!

I will be starting IVF/ICSI #6 in late March early April. I am waiting for AF to come to go in 3 days after for b/w and sono. Good Luck!!

Corinna Me-39 DH-44 low sperm count DS-9 1.Ivf 1997- took 1st time 2.FT-1998 lost baby at 7 weeks took time off 3.IVF 2003-lost baby at 9 weeks 4.IVF Sept.07 BFP Oct. 29, 07 was told pregnancy was not viable to stop taking meds. I stopped.... Nov 6, went to RE for consult did sono everything ok with pregnancy that they said was not viable on 10/29. Nov 7 RE called start taking progestrone. Nov 9 miscarried. 5.IVF Jan 2008 ER Jan 17 8 follies retrieved ET Jan 20 transfered (3) 1- 7 cell grade B, 1-5 cell grade A, and 1-4 cell grade A BETA Jan 31. 6. IVF March or April 2008

I too will probably be starting sometime the middle of April. We have an ART class to go to in March (I think it's just about the injections). Hopefully I will find out then when they are going to do the HSG and the cervical cannulation. I'm already on the BC pills as I had endo with three failed IUI's. So we are moving on. I would love a buddies to share the experience. I'm not afraid of the shots or needles. I'm more concerned about the emotional toll.

ME --- PCOS DH----LOW COUNT 1st IVF/ICSI cycle started BCP on FEB10th started Lupron on Feb 23rd started follistim on Mar 3rd 1st IVF/ICSI cycle cancelled due to high E2 presently on BCP-----hoping to start next cycle soon AF arrived on 26th April . 2nd IVF/ICSI cycle NO BCP NO LUPRON Started follistim on April 28 Started ganerelix on May 3rd HCG SHOT ON 8th MAY ER ON 10th MAY ET ON 13th MAY P4 check on 17th May Beta HCG on 24th May RESULT--- AF on 27 th may Next appointment on 11th June 3 blastocysts remaining could not use them  Would Be attempting next cycle in april

Hello to all fellow April buddies!!
DH and I will be starting our next cycle in April with a ER/ET around the end of April beginning of May. I am so excited and convinced this it our time. I know we all are going to have !!! I have been apart of this forum since we began in 2006 and cycle buddy threads are always a huge support and help. I am so grateful to go through this with women who are going through it too! I just got the call for my IVF consult this week. We go to Calgary for this on Mar. 6 & 7 after waiting for not quite 4 months. I'm not sure how long it will take once we register until the procedure to take place. I wish everyone good luck and pray we all get our bfps really soon!

Thanks babybearjmd, I will join the azoospermia thread too as ICSI with non motile sperm and round headed spermatids will be quite a challenge! I just hope the chemistry between my DH and I translates into a good fertilisation between our eggs and sperm
 As for my IVF/ICSI cycle, I would be starting with the bcp's as soon as my AF comes (1st or 2nd March) then start Gonal-F from the 14th day and hopefully have my ER by 10-12th April. Just need to find out the fertilisation rate in cases like mine and what day embryo to transfer.
