My nurse said to minimize this you have to leave the needle in and count to 10. She said the more meds you're injecting the more you count to, so with Lupron you count to maybe 5 and then when you're mixing your GonalF and Menopur (or other meds) you count to 10 or so. She said still some might come back out but not to worry about it, and not to take more.

I'm in a progesterone study so we only get two choices, the ring (not on the market yet) or the gel. Both have been proven to sustain progesterone levels in pregnancy....and it's a random study so I might get either.

Hopefulmama, here is my 2 cents on the levels and stuff. My RE doesn't give them to me too often either and I keep thinking I should ask because everyone seems to know theirs, however, for me, I'm thinking that just knowing the number maybe put added stress on me. Stressing about is it high enough, shouldn't it be higher, oh it's too low, etc... So for me, I'm thinking that if my RE thought it was a bad number he would say so. So I never ask about my numbers as I don't want that added stress. For what it's worth, just thought I would send my opinion. Good luck.

Inourdreams, Sculli and Hopefulmama Thanks for your quick replies on my lupron questions! DH suggested we call the pharmacy or the clinic, and I said "nah, I'll ask the Ladies of May for some insight!" Sure enough, you came through! Thanks! DH was impressed!

Hopefulmama - for you that your cycle doesn't get canceled!!

I am doing PIO shots...wasn't given an option, but I think I'm happy to not be dealing with suppositories for 12 weeks!!

IndieBlue!! - Don't I know you?? I'm with you on the stretchy, comfy clothes. Even though I've lost about ten pounds in the last couple of months, I still have 15 more to go. Gaining weight on stims will be frustrating for sure...but for a good cause! I've gotten a little lazy with my workouts lately, but I will be back on the trail or the treadmill starting today! Maybe we can keep each other on track?

I also have a 2 week kit (we start Lupron tomorrow!!) and my bottle is about half full....we start with .2cc and then drop down to .1cc in two weeks...is your protocol the same?

My RE mentioned to us that the most he would transfer is 2....my husband and I hope that is enough to do the trick but kind of wish we could put back more....what is everyone else facing with ET? I know we are all different but just looking for a general amount so I know when I see him tomorrow if I am ok to ask for more or just being silly and scared ....I know some have already put back more than 2 and I wonder why we have been limited....any thoughts???

Our RE told us it would depend on how many embies we had, and their quality. If we end up with plenty and have some to freeze, and they are good quality, we'll put back 2. If we have none left to freeze, or they are okay just quality- he said he'd be more agressive and put back 3.

I went to Target this weekend and got some stretchy clothes too. When my out of style loose "mom" pants don't fit anymore I know it's not a good sign.

Just got my bloodwork results. After 3 days of stims my E2 is only 80. They said they like to see it above 100 so now I'm worried. Has anyone else had this problem? Does this mean that I am a poor responder? I'm on a pretty high dose of Gonal-F so I don't think they can raise it anymore. I almost wish I didn't ask what the level was.
