You know the IVF nurse did say anywhere between 14-18 days on BCP. I wonder how & when they decide that....???

My RE uses the bcp to schedule procedures. It helps them control the cycle so they can predict/guess when your ER and ET will be. My first cycle I was on bcp for 21 days and this cycle 23 days, I actually had to start a new pack for 2 days. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Karla

UPDATE ON ME:
Had my sono/lab today. I have 7-10 follicles some are just a bit little and he wants them bigger so I'm shooting another night of stims and back tomorrow morning for bw/sono again. My estrogen is at 850 something, he wants it at over 1000. So hopefully tonight will get it there. We are thinking ER on Thursday. I'm getting excited and anxious all at the same time. My DH and I are going to have go stay in the city the night before because our RE office is 1 hour away and they want the sample there under an hour. My mom is coming to stay with our 3 year old son. I have never left him over night before so this will be emotional not to mention the whole ER thing. I have been having paranoid fears that DH couldn't perform and we can't get a sample. Anyone else experience this? I think the 2ww is going to kill me. Anyhow, that's my update. Did someone say rice krispie treats? I had some yesterday.

Pris Great numbers for your retrieval - and all from just the one ovary!!!Z Glad you aren't feeling too much pain
Karla At my RE's they put me on BCPs for 10 days (which the nurse told me is the standard time there) and then I take it for 5 more days with Lupron and then Lupron alone for 5 days (so bcps for a total of 15 days). The BCP/ Lupron overlap is so that you are covered until the Lupron kicks in fully. Well I went to the liver doc and had b/w done - results should be back tomorrow. I have a u/s of my liver scheduled for wed and an upper endoscopic u/s for Thursday. The good news is he seemed to think this was precautionary b/c of the upcoming IVF and I can stay on the IVF meds unless something comes up. He did say I might have an ulcer but given some of the alternatives that isn't too bad.

Day 3 of stims - I am taking so much follistim that I can already feel my ovaries. I can't believe how swollen and bloated I am already on day 3. I went in for bw today, but missed the RE's call so I have no idea what my E2 was, I'm back in on Wednesday but until then I'm keeping the same dosages.
