Hey Kelly - awesome news from your ER! That's an amazing number of follies! All the best for quick recovery and ET!

Congrats everyone who is starting stimming and Lupron, it goes really quick from there! Thinking of all you tonight!

I know, my dh didn't have an issue either though I think the first time at the RE's that he had to give a sample he was a little embarrassed. We live over an hour from our RE so he has to do it at the office even for an IUI which is not his first choice but same as Katy's dh he came back out and I was like "are you done already?"

Hmmm, that is interesting. Maybe you just responded differently this month. I hear that can happen, and sometimes there can be drastic differences (like one month with IUI I had multiple follies, another month, only one). Best of luck to you and I can't wait to hear how your upcoming ER goes!

1.) One person you would take with you. My DH, of course!

2.) One book you would take with you. I like IndieBlue's answer! Mine would be a photo album with family and friends...does that count as a book?

3.) One food you would take with you. Broccoli or Gummi Bears...it's a toss up! But definitely not broccoli-flavored gummi bears!

Indie - that is a riot! You described the setting as my DH described it to a "t"! He was also afraid to touch the stuff, and always made sure I knew he "got it all in". To be honest, I actually don't know if I'd be comfortable having to do what they do - guess that's why God gave them the equipment they have!

I've seen so many negatives lately It's so sad....makes you really re-evaluate your own situation and how you'll feel if you don't get your BFP. I've seen some women with text book cycles and still come up with a negative....IVF is truly an unknown isn't it

Oh well, I guess we have to keep up our positive attitude and know that if it's our time it will work. All of those who are currently PUPO I wish you so we can have some BFP's soon and lift everyones spirits.

For those of you that have gotten a negative, I pray that you'll be given strength to carry on and achieve your dreams....I don't know first hand what you're going through but I know it must be very painful and emotional to deal with after such a stressful journey.

Now for personals

RHart: will be thinking of you with this meds change. I don't remember my previous cycle so I think that's a blessing in disguise I stress way too much without comparing things. I'm sure they are watching you closely and will adjust as necessary though..just keep up that PMA!!

KayM: ABOUT TIME!!! LOL, so glad she finally showed up for you! I was really worrying about mine too, she waited till day 36....which is my all time record anyway, seems to be my breaking point LOL They let me start on BCP's the day after I started....and I'll be on them till the 18th, starting Lupron on the 15th.

Shasta: WOW, that's a lot of follicles. Great egg report...can't wait to hear the fertilization report! Good luck! Oh and just flip over on the couch....he can shoot you with the PIO there can't he LOL

Mama2Caden: Congrats...maybe just one more day of stims...how exciting!

Mama2Caden and Katy: I so know what you mean. My husband was all manly when it came to the SAnalysis and said "Awww, I can do that, don't worry". He told me after the appointment on the way home that he finally just 'got it over with' as the room was bright and just clinical LOL He said they had some nice (read sarcasm) 1970's movies, a few books/magazines he was afraid to open and a nice (OLD) recliner in the room which he was not about to sit in LOL I don't know what we'll do for the ER day...LOL He was proud that the other gentleman there that day in the opposite room was still in there when he came out, and still in there after he went back to the lab! Funny how he finds competition in the strangest of circumstances.

So funny! I think it gives them a sense of accomplishment!

On a related note about DH's, my DH got irritated with me today for sitting in the sun ("the embie might get too warm..."). Now that it's all up to me, here come the don'ts! It's all good though....

Indieblue I can totally relate with to what you were saying about the SA. My dh said something similar about magazines he didn't want to touch and a couch he wasn't so sure about sitting on. He was also sarcastic about the movie selection - I laughed hysterically when he told me some of the titles. He decided to just get it over with also.

Indie - that is a riot! You described the setting as my DH described it to a "t"! He was also afraid to touch the stuff, and always made sure I knew he "got it all in". To be honest, I actually don't know if I'd be comfortable having to do what they do - guess that's why God gave them the equipment they have!

Yep, I totally agree. That is why I felt so worried for him, I was thinking...if I had to 'perform' in a public room with bright lights and people waiting in the lab for my contribution, NO WAY! I have a very 'nun' quality about me when it comes to that.....LOL Glad he's not that bound by his surroundings....or we'd never get anywhere.
