I was on bcps for 4 days after I started 10 of Lupron. I think it was to coordinate my cycle with the re office.

DH is going out of town, leaving tomorrow AM. Now I have to figure out who will do my PIO!!! My neighbor is a Physicians Assistant so she will do most of them, but she cant do it Thursday. I am so lost on who I will have do it. I asked one of my other neighbors and she agreed but seems hesitant so I am going to be looking for a back up to my back up ( I am already prepared that no matter who I get as the back up....it is gonna HURT!!!). She did offer up her niece who is a CNA and Im like no way....first off I dont know her and 2nd I was a CNA and they dont do shots!!! LOL. I have a couple days to figure it out. If I did PIO in the morning maybe I would just take a trip to the hospital I use to work at and ask one of the nurses but we usually do it around 9PM.

I am so not brave enough to do it myself, so thats not an option.

Ughhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

My e2 after 3 days of stims was just at 100. It went up to 989 after 7 days of stims total. It is now 2067 after 10 days. I too was freaked out at first. Everyone on this board told me to hang in there....and they were right of course. Good luck!

Ughhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

I know what you mean....I have to travel to California for work for almost 2weeks 5-27 thru 6-07. I was so worried about who was going to give me my PIO shot so i said something to my nurse and she gave me enough suppositories for my trip. YIPPIE.. Now i don't have to ask my travel buddy for work to do them for me. Not sure how i would feel having a guy from work doing them. But what choice would i have had, b/c i'm not doing them in my leg.

Good luck in finding someone to help you...

Indieblue and Katy I know - I don't think I could "perform" under those circumstances either. Especially knowing you had to walk your fresh sample directly to the lab lady ... What the dh's go through all for the sake of a baby...

They gave me 2 ampules of albumin (Jen - it's to help reduce the risk of OHSS by drawing extra fluid into the blood system instead of allowing to go into the abdomen) afterwards in the IV. They have me measuring all the fluids going in and coming out. That'll be fun! JK. We won't know for several days if we can ET this cycle or not. But first, PIO tonight, if I can get off the couch ok.

Thanks so much, you all, for your well wishes. You have no idea how much it means to me!

Congrats everyone who is starting stimming and Lupron, it goes really quick from there! Thinking of all you tonight!

Kelly-
I'm so glad it went well and lots of eggies! Now I hope you feel better soon and I'm that you get to do the et soon!

You girls are a riot. I just asked DH about his donation in March after 3 IUIs and 2 IVFs over the last 3 years. He said there were so many private rooms back there with loveseats, movies as wells as many mens popular magazines ..Playboy etc... I guess I had never thought to ask. He was like of course, this is big money. They have to make it to where we have everything we could need. I have to put the images out of my mind. For our last IUI I started wondering because we also live far so we have to drive in and deposit there. There were like 5 guys there at the same time. I guess that is their job to deposit and give us shots. Although my DH does really sympathize with all that my body goes through.
