Thanks jen12! It helps to know that I'm not the only one. Last night I started to get crampy and bloated after my shot so I'm hoping that its starting to work. If you don't mind me asking - how many follicles did you have before you started stims?

Yay!!! showed up this morning!! (in force, TMI, I know). So, I am calling the RE this A.M., for an appt probably on Friday and will be on Lupron by the weekend (probably start stims on Sunday!). I am so excited!!! Of course, I feel like I've done this a few too many times (more than I ever thought) but I still can't help getting excited every time...plus there appears to be no reason for my BFN's so maybe it is just a try, try again thing:-)

That is a good idea, I will have to look into that (as long as its close by, because I still have my DS to worry about and that is almost his bedtime. I really have no problem keeping him up late so I will ask around. Thanks for the idea.

Here is my update. Yesterday I went to my doctor and he told me that my follies are in pretty good size and I should be good to go on Wed. 5/7 for my ER. He told me to do the trigger last night and then stop eating tonight at 10pm and don't drink any liquid because of the anesthesia. I am not sure how things will be tomorrow I think I'll be awake and I am a little nervous.

I did the trigger shot last night and girls it HURT a LOT! Mine is called Predalon 500mg and I was supposed to take 1 liquid and 2 powder vile and miss it up and inject in the belly. I was so nervous that after I mixed the 1st powder with the liquid I dropped it and half of the mix was in the paper towel!! Talk about panic, anxiety and sadness..... So anyway, I just mix the rest of the liquid with the other powder and injected myself. Immediately my belly was had swollen in the area and was painful and burning too. As a result I went was only able to sleep at 6am and woke up at 9am this morning. I am so scared I ruined everything, I can't stop thinking about last night and tomorrow. The bump in my belly down now and the are is less red and it only hurts if I touch around it. I can't wait for tomorrow to arrive ASAP.
As a result from my trigger I am also very bloated, any of you were bloated too?

I am also worried because my ET will be on Friday, which means only 2 days after ER. I begged my doctor for a 3 days transfer and he told me that there's no difference between a 2 day transfer and a 3 day one. So I asked him for a 5 day transfer and he said NO WAY. So 2 days will be.... Although I really would feel much, much better that since I am only transferring 2 ambies, to have a 3rd day transfer. But 2 days will have to be good enough. Please girls send me your positive thoughts, good vibes and for those who believe, your prayers too.
I also asked him about what should I eat and what should I avoid after my ET he literally looked at me as if I was CRAZY when I mentioned pineapple, grape juice or anything of that sort... But I'll do it anyway. Who cares what he thinks of me! LOL

Well, this is how my week started and how it is going so far. I am a mix of soooo many emotions right now.
My boobs hurts, my face is like a volcano full of pimples everywhere, and I did gain 8 pounds since the beginning of the IVF and I was already overweight... but you know what?!!! IT IS WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF IT if we get a !!!

Mari, hang in there!!! You will do great tomorrow! The whole process is stressful, but you have to trust your RE, and keep your eye on the prize! Try and get some sleep today! TKO (Terri)

I just got my protocol & calendar from my IVF nurse coordinator!!!

WOW-- I'm so excited....It looks like my tentative ER date is 6/17/08 & ET is 6/20/08 for a 3 day transfer or 6/22/08 for a 5 day transfer!!
I start Lupron on 5-23-08......I can't wait!!
Whoo-hoo....I'm still going to hang in the May thread for now b/c I've got to stick around to see you all get those BFP's!!!

Good Morning Ladies!!

Well, I went to the RE for my u/s today. They wanted to check to see if I had any cysts on my ovaries and thanks to God I had no cysts!

He also inserted a catheder to measure my uterus. He said it would be an "easy" transfer! Thank you God!

I officially took my first Lupron shot after the appointment. The anxiety was much worse than the shot.

My next step will be to start stims on 5/15!!

For all of us who have tried before, THIS WILL BE OUR TIME. Just seeing them grow and pictures of the embryos pulls us through. Each time we get a little closer and this time is our BFP month.

Martieroo-- OMG!!! just try and relax now that it is over. What a day!! My first IVF they had to call the RE in ther 3 times (not my usual RE) . There was some delay that kept him from coming over with another pt. I had to empty a little of my bladder twice while waiting. Hope they are snuggling in with their mom.

I know what you mean-- now that I have the calendar, dates of payment due, the pages & pages of consents to sign its all becoming VERY real!!! I can't wait!!!

So this IVF cycle will be converted to an IUI. I am a little disappointed but at the same time hoping that the IUI works. I wil take my trigger shot tonite and then go in for the IUI on Thursday.

Oh I'm so sorry- but- you are still doing an IUI so it's not over yet! Hang in there- you never know how things will work out!
