Boy, less than stellar day today. SIL is 8 weeks preg- just found out with twins. It's just really hard to swallow. She's 2 years younger than us, and only married just a year. We've been married 5 and trying for over 2. And I feel bad becasue they did need help and used clomid- but they tried 3 times and bam. I really am happy for them- I just wish I was in the same boat. Okay had to get that out. I know this too shall pass- I don't even feel like eating the great chicken dinner I just made. Okay- tomorrow is a new day, and I'll get my turn. God knows what he's doing.

Hello Ladies of May,
I think I will joining you. I am going to have my 4th IVF in May. My first 3 attempts haven't worked, but my younger sister has graciously agreed to be an egg donor to us.

We got our calendar today. She and I are both on BCPs. She will begin Lupron on May 9, and I will begin on May 2. We are tentatively scheduled for a 5/30 or 5/31 retrieval and a 6/2 or 6/4 transfer.

I'm so sorry that you have having a bad day. It happened to me over the weekend. A girlfriend, unmarried only dating 6 months found out she is 3 months along. Its so hard to be happy, when it has been so tough. She wants me to be actively involved in the entire process and I'm just a little worried about how I will handle it.

Lindsay & Josephine, it's so hard. I know. My sister is pregnant with #2, also by way of IVF. She get pregnant right away, on her first IVF and I've been through 4 miserable cycles and 2 m/c's. It was so hard for me to swallow and I feel like I have been bitter about it and perhaps it's showing to my family. I've come to better terms with it, but it really hurts... especially when I feel so vulnerable. I'm so glad to have you gals. We can understand and empathize with one another better than anyone else. Here's to us and our lucky month of May!

I'm not sure what I would have done with out the ladies on this site when our last cycle didn't work. I was so emotionally invested in the cycle. It was the first time in my life I was PUPO. I cried for days and I couldn't log on for about a week or so.

So far this cycle, I'm thinking positive and hoping to say away from stressing out.

Lindsay-- I'm sorry-- I know that is REALLY tough...I don't know if you saw my post-- I think on the previous page from earlier today....MY SIL is also preggo, was w/ twins but sadly they lost one. They have had no trouble getting preggo...this is baby #2. It's rough sometimes--- everyone on my side & my hubby's side have had children-- no problem. =)...That is ok though-- we'll be joining them VERY soon!!! Keep your head up girlie-- its going to be you too!!!

I hope everyone is having a great week! Can't wait till the weekend. I know how some of you feel about everyone around you is getting and we are still living through the wonderful world of IF. We have been struggling over 5 years and everywhere I turn there are pregnant ladies (friends, family members, and co-workers). I find co-workers are the hardest to deal with. You see them everyday and hear about their pregnancy all day long...complaining about being sick and tired. Sometimes I just want to confront them and try to get them to understand what I am going through but I know they will never truly understand. It makes me sick to my stomach and I just want to stay away from them. It is so hard to deal with. I haven't been back to work since we loss our son in Oct. I had about 5 co-workers that were pregnant along with me. It would have been so hard to go back and watch their growing bellies. These co-workers are all going to have their babies before I go back. I am a teacher so I took off until next school year. But, I hear that at my school there are more pregnant teachers that are expecting for next school year. All I can do is hope and that I will be joining them in August already .

Linz - I am so sorry you are having a bad day. I completely understand how you feel. I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 3 years and . Then my cousin tries for two months and gets pregnant. I agree with you though; God know what he is doing.

Nicole-- I'm really sorry to hear what happened with losing your son. I truly can't imagine how hard & devastating that must be. I admire your attitude though & the mere fact you are not giving up. It takes a really strong woman & strong couple to continue to move forward....=)

Good morning, girls!

Wow - it's been busy around here! I've been really busy with work the past few days and haven't had time to keep up!

to all of the new ladies!!


Can you believe, we have 39 moms-to-be on our cycle list???!!! Since this is my 1st cycle, I don't know what the avg is but I think that's awesome, and we have a GREAT support group going on!

For those of you having rough days/week, I AM SO SORRY!!! IF sucks. I don't think it will EVER be easy to hear that anyone we know is preggo until we are! I can relate to those struggling with SIL stories - one of my SIL just had twins in Jan (baby 3 & 4) - naturally (and, not trying! I know, you're surprised - LOL). And, my BFF got preggo last yr after 1 mos of dating a new guy WHILE on bcp and 1 mos AFTER her divorce (in which she had 2 beautiful girls)

So.......I take a DEEP BREATH, leave the negative thoughts and energy behind, and be positive, and know that MAY WILL BE OUR MONTH LADIES!! And, I agree with the other girls, God knows what he is doing and we're just waiting, trying to be patiently waiting our turn!
