I'm so nervous though....this (sorry TMI) constipation is killing me and I keep thinking that I'm going to push the embryo's out  I phoned my nurse about meds I could take on the study that I'm in...but she's yet to call me back so it's only getting worse.

Very Sad Today
Ladies of May .. thank you for letting me part of all the joys going on here. But, we got some very sad news today .. my Beta was only 15. I am 14dp3dt, so it is over.
I guess I expected it since the HPT lines were so faint. But, we really felt that this was our time. We aren't sure if we will do IVF again. I cried a lot today .. but, I know I am lucky in a lot of ways and it will eventually be fine. Good luck to everyone. Tara.

 I'm 39 (one tube .. b/c ectopic)DH 49 (some male factor) Otherwise we are both perfect  Ralph .. severe male factor as he is castrated1st IVF .. 5 eggs, 2 Fertilized and transfered, BFP. ECTOPIC ..  We are very sad .. but, hope to be back in the March or April IVFers. 2nd IVF .. 5 eggs, 4 fertilized 2 made to transfer, Chemical. We are very sad and not sure of our next plan. June-Aug. ... worked on adoption homestdy Aug. 14 may start microdose lupron protocol and give ivf one last try. 3rd IVF ... starting stims Aug. 14th.  LET THIS BE ITConverted to IUI as only three follies. Insemination on Aug 21.

would you do a back to back cycle?
Well girls, you can see I updated my signature with my most recent
 . Although I knew 80,000 sperm was a long shot, I hoped that 5 eggs would balance my luck out. I guess not.Now the question is, do I do a new ivf cycle right away since this was converted to IUI. I did stimm for 10 days though. Or do I wait until August and let my body rest. Advice would be great girls! I'm debating if I should accept a summer job for the month of July and it will depend on my decision to cycle in July or August. Advice welcome !!!!

 me-39 IR dh-47 male factor my soulmate  2 IUIs w/clomid ivf#1 1/07 antral follicle count 7 follistim, menopur, gonarelex RE 16 eggs TX 2 : 2A/2B embies OHSS   fet #1 5/07 2 frozen blasts both thawed  but ivf#2 8/07 antral follicle count 15 follistim, menopur, gonarelex RE 17 eggs TX 3 embies: 7cellB. 6cellA, 5cellA OHSS again! and ivf #3 5/08 converted to IUI new RE long lupron protocol with gonal-F, menopur RE : CANCELLED b/c of very slow response released 5 perfect eggs with 80,000 post wash sperm beta: June 5th...my 3rd anniversary ivf #4 7/08 antral follicle count 19 eggs long lupron (.05) with gonal-f and menopur gonal-f only 5 days, switched to 150 menopur only ER: 7/30 12 eggs! ET 8/2 tx day 3- 4 embies 8/18 but turned to chem preg. RE says it's my DH's poor sperm quality. Appt w/Dr. Schlegel at Cornell urology

The only thing I know for sure is that I want a month off and he agrees. I think letting your body (and mind) rest and being very excited going into the next cycle might help. At least for me personally, I feel shot up, out of shape and mentally drained. I think taking some time to exercise, get caught up at work and enjoy the summer is going to be helpful. Hey ladies,
I posted on the May 2ww thread, too..... Missed you all...... We have been out of town trying to relax for the end of the 2ww. We returned Monday afternoon for my beta. AF was no where in sight, and we were soooooo cautiously optimistic......I POAS Monday evening and it was , RE called yesterday to confirm what we already knew......needless to say, we are devastated.Not sure where we'll go from here.......

I kept thinking the whole cycle....if I get a BFN, no big deal since we have children already, and even had the wonderful experience of adoption. But now that I'm in the 2ww, I'm just so crushed to think that it might be a negative. I won't know how to feel, what to do or where to go next. We said all along...this is our one and only shot, no more after this! But, again....in the 2ww so many things come in to your mind about doing another cycle if this one should fail I pray that you find some peace soon and you're able to get a BFP somehow!

I just wanted to let you all know that I have continued to POAS and my faint line (FRED) has gottten much darker and this morning at 9dp3dt I got a + on EPT!!!!!!! I am so excited but trying to remain calm until my beta Monday!!!! Tomorrow I dare to POA-digital.....
I get that magic word!!!!

Hello Ladies,
I wanted to stop in and say Hello. Congratulations to all of the and that I am so sorry to all of the Ladies in this forum that recieved a .Update: Since my IVF was converted to an IUI I have been posting in Insemination -- 2ww forum. My IUI was 6/2 and I was due for my AF on 6/15. Well, AF came this morning. Since, I am suppose to start BCP's on CD1, CD2 or CD3 I figured I would POAS before purchasing the BCP's. Well, I got a faint positive. I called the doctors office and told them that I got a faint positive. Also, I told them how I was vomitting the other day, had pains around my ovary, and got light headed. They said that they were done doing pregnancy test for the day and they could not do one until Monday morning or I could go to Lab Corp and get the test done today. What are they nuts to think that I could possibly wait until Monday. I have to call the doctors office tomorrow to get the results. When I got home from having my blood drawn, I decided to POA-Digital and got "Pregnant". I am trying to remain realizatic that it could be "False Positives" or "A Chemical Pregnancy" or "Etopic".

Take them for two months - if I do not concieve then we will do Growth Hormones + IVF in January 2009. 11/7 - AF started, begin Growth Hormone Injections tomorrow. 12/1 - AF due ?? 1/3/2009 - AF due ?? Begin the IVF #3 process.

Ladies: I think it's over for me
I'm very sad to say that for the past weeks I've been a POAS'holic and gotten 2 positive test It was wonderful and yesterday it got darker....YAY!! This morning I decided to take a FRER and put it with the father's day card I'd picked up....only to get a NEGATIVE on it and 2 of the ones like I took all week. I'm having the hot flashes like I do before I start AF (first thing in the morning) and also the AF type cramps (which I really thought was a normal sign of implantation).....so looks like whatever was giving off the HCG is gone now. I've not bled any, so not sure exactly what is holding that off....but again who knows why God would have let me see 2 darkening positives and then take that away. I feel so extremely sad, just overcome with not wanting to move. The drive to the RE on Wednesday is going to be the most depressing thing I've had to do in a long time....I really wish I didn't have to go now. Thanks to everyone who sent me positive vibes through this all, and for the prayers My loving husband is still holding out hope for Wednesday....but I'm just devastated at the loss right now and can't focus on any positives just to be let down again.I know many of you have been through this multiple times...and I commend you.....this is by far the most disappointing thing to come out of so much hard work and money. But seeing all you move on lets me know that I can too....and be happy with the blessings I have. Thanks again and best of luck to you all!!!
