Joining You
Hi all .. I thought I would drop in on the May forum. I was solidly in April and have now had THREE delays to start Stims. Apparently my E2 wants to just keep climbing regardless of the amount of Lupron I shoot up. Accordingly, I started Lupron weeks ago and won't probably start stims until around May 1st. Accordingly .. here I am .. I'm on 7days of the pill now, going in for another baseline around the 1st. Looks like there is a lot of activity here. I pray May is a the month of Spring and Luck. GO MAY.

 I'm 39 (one tube .. b/c ectopic)DH 49 (some male factor) Otherwise we are both perfect   Ralph .. severe male factor as he is castrated1st IVF .. 5 eggs, 2 Fertilized and transfered, BFP. ECTOPIC ..  We are very sad .. but, hope to be back in the March or April IVFers. 2nd IVF .. 5 eggs, 4 fertilized 2 made to transfer, Chemical. We are very sad and not sure of our next plan. June-Aug. ... worked on adoption homestdy Aug. 14 may start microdose lupron protocol and give ivf one last try. 3rd IVF ... starting stims Aug. 14th.  LET THIS BE ITConverted to IUI as only three follies. Insemination on Aug 21.

Hey guys,
Just checking in on everyone and hoping you're all having a great weekend. We just discovered our basement is flooding with the 2.3 inches of rain we got yesterday. That sucks so bad...we store a lot of stuff in our basement and are trying to move it out of there. Wish us luck!

 Me (Kelly) - 31, blocked right tube, PCOS DH - 34, low motility - Sadie TTC #1 since 1/05 11/05-1/06: 3 cycles of Clomid 100mg, all  7/07-12/07: IUI x 5 with Clomid/Letrozole, all 2/1/08 - HSG - right tube blocked IVF#1 5/5/08 - ER - 46 follicles aspirated, 30 eggs retrieved, 24 are mature, 17 fertilized. Cycle canceled due to OHSS. FET #1 on 6/9/08 - single blast transferred... FET #2 on 9/10/08 - single blast transferred  10/15/08 - D&C for miscarriage  .10/30/08 - Follow-up appt to discuss next FET.

Kelly......Sorry to hear about your basement flooding. If it's not one thing it's another! Hang in there. I took my last bcp last night and will be waiting for AF. I have a baseline u/s on Monday.  to all of you!-Stephanie

Jennifer and all- Thanks for the time passing suggestions...time sure does drag...i started the gardenign as I said and am going for my first acupuncture appointment this week...figure I might as well get used to the needles, lol. Now that the weather is getting nicer I am spending more and more time outside...I just can't wait to get the Lupron started!!!

Kelly, I am so sorry about your basement! Like you don't have enough stress already!
Tara, I am sorry you have some trouble but "we have to keep our eye on the prize!" I know a will be your result!!To everyone, I hope everyone's weekend is going well! I am sick! Coughing, Sneezing, Fever, the works!! I have my Cycle Day 3 bloodwork tomorrow so I am not happy that I am sick. Oh yeah, did I mention it is at 7:45AM!!!??!! Anyway, I will let everyone know the results as soon as I get them! I have to call on Monday to schedule my HSG procedure this week. everything comes back normal!!

This maybe a TMI question, but I am on BCP and have not started lupron yet, and my "GIRLS" are killin' me. Is that a side effect of BCP? I have not taken BCP in at least 8 years, I do not remember this being a side effect!!

Oh my gosh! I am right there with you. I feel like I am carrying around two bowling balls on my chest. And for some reason my husband has been all grabby with them lately. I have threatened his life on more than one occasion this week. I have been on bcp for a week and a half. I start lupron on Wednesday.

I've been on BCP since April 1st and do not have the boob problem. I start Lupron on Friday. Sorry ya'll are in pain but I hate to say that will prob be the least pain threw out the whole process.

Melanie~ same problem here...been off BCP for 2.5 years and now I have sore boobs and pimples....RE said it's normal but geez...what a pain...guess my hormones are going crazy right now, lol. We have to tough it out...in the end this will all be worth it when we are
