Tara!! Sorry to see your ectopic and to hear about your delays. Glad you will cycle with us.

I introduced myself last week and haven't posted since because I came down with a terrible cold in addition to trying to get in touch with my RN b/c today I start Lupron. Luckily my cold is gone now and my Lupron came yesterday by mail order and I got my protocol on Friday. I will be starting Lupron today with an estimated start of stims on May 3rd with ER ? May 14th (based on prior hx). I am starting with 225 Gonal F the first few days. I am cautiously excited this go around and trying to stay as mentally sane as possible. I've been trying to treat DH extra nice lately b/c when the hormones start...watch out. I am going to the gym today as well as yoga trying to at least maintain my weight before stims. Thanks for all who posted about exercise during stimming. I'll just go for walks also. Hope all our May friends are having a great weekend.

Starting FET

Hello everyone...I thought I would join your group. I am getting ready for an FET sometime in May. I started Lupron on 4/11/08. Today I had BW and US done...The US shows that I now have "simple" cysts on both of my ovaries along with the endometriomas. My RE said that they don't usually continue with the FET if the simple cysts are present. She said they are most likely from the stimulating drugs from IVF #1 that was done in February. She said the cysts should have disappeared by now...So I'm to continue on Lupron and wait for her to call me...

Hello, I would like to jump on the May bandwagon, too!

This is my first IVF & I'm delighted to discover such an active board. Hope to get to know you guys better along this journey. I'm starting BCP this week and will continue doing yoga and walking to remain sane. Wish this darn snow would go away- can you believe we've got snow in Seattle? I need some sunshine to calm these nerves

Hey there girls,

I'm new to this thread too, and starting stims tonite. I was disappointed to hear today that I have a small cyst (I think simple) on one ovary but they are letting me continue. I hope they know what they are doing because it counts as a cycle for insurance purposes once I start the stims. I even took last month off, but I guess I was bound to have a cyst at some point.

Will be cheering you all on - hoping we see some 's this month!

Hey Angie,
That is so great that your DH is handy enough to finish your basement. I can see why a flooding basement would be his worst fear! We've got most of our stuff out undamaged, but it wasn't pretty. I'm just scared we're going to have mildew down there this summer so we're trying to really let it dry out good.

Even though tonight was my second night on stims, I really am feeling them. Maybe it's all mental. lol. Enjoy lupron but 1 week will go by so fast and then you are on your way! I will definitely be doing lot's of knitting and crochet this weekend. I am addicted! lol. What is your next project?

Hey there!
I posted a ravelry pic of the kimono yesterday. You are really kicking some booty on that blanket...good job! I haven't started knitting for my baby yet since I figure I'll have 9 months to do that! Oh and next project? Finishing those darn socks...

Hope you're feeling ok. My RE nurse said to "plan on being miserable after a week of being on the stims". I think she was talking about abd discomfort. It was good for my DH to hear that from someone other than me! Ha!

Have fun!

Tara, Ladybug, MissKris, and Katy to the month of May group! You'll find everyone here is a great source of support.

Melanie, Jessica, and Elizabeth - I agree, the OCP's gave me breast tenderness as well. No fun. At least it goes away as your body gets used to them. Elizabeth, you make me LOL!!! Get that DH under control!!! The death threat was a nice touch...

Mamashuga - Thanks for the good wishes on the basement. It's a beautiful day today outside, so hopefully the ground can dry a little in time for tomorrow's predicted rain showers...

Pris - that everything goes well for you on Tuesday. How exciting to start stims on Wed!

Emilysmom - How did you do with your first Lupron? Hopefully it was no big deal. It's nice to actually "do something" after all this waiting.
Karla, Karla, Karla! Did find you yet? Thought about you at church this morning...

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

They hook you to a little box that has what looks the car jumper cables (but a lot smaller lol.) It really just feels like vibrations. I got a little nervous but it's nothing. I stopped feeling the vibrations after about 10 minutes too. I get to go again tomorrow and she is going to make the "voltage" higher.

to all the new ladies that joined us! We are all getting closer to our in May.

I am having lots of problems with the BCPs - pimples, moodiness, and very sleepy. I think by the time my body gets used to them, it will be time to get off of the them.

Kelly - I hope your basement dries very quickly so that you don't have to worry about mold.

Congrats to all the ladies that have started Lupron and stims - The time will fly by.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

Great Forum

Thanks everyone for all the welcomes.

Good or bad, I have now been part of the January Forum, the April forum, and the may forum ... and this entire site is a life saver.

Has anyone put together a list of everyone's status yet? I would do it .... but, the big problem for me is I can't get on the site at work .. so, I generally only make it once every few days. But, if we get it started, you can always update it yourself and then past it .. and it goes from there. Let me know if it has been started.

Kelly .. the basement thing is a bummer.

Jen .. I'm taking my last BCP in 5 days. My biggest fear is that will decide to be delayed like all else. I'll be waiting to see how long it takes for you to see her.

Angie .. thanks for the support.

Stephanie .. I think that is going aroudn. Especially if it has a bunch of coughing (where it is so bad it keeps you awake at night). I finally went to the Dr. and he told me to buy Imodium MD (he said the MD portion was key).

Pris .. good luck with starting Stims.

Tara.
