They connect it to the end of the acupuncture needles. The end that is towards your skin. It's for the length of the session so maybe 35-40 minutes.

So, I've missed out on alot!!! My mom came to visit on Tuesday and just left yesterday...I thought you were supposed to slow down when you got older!!!! She ran me all over the place and kept me really busy, so I didn't have a chance to get online and check in on everyone....now I don't know if I'll ever catch up!

But...I did see something about acupuncture and electric currents...I did this last month! It isn't so bad because the acupuncturist asks you how much of a current is comfortable. I think it can be slightly uncomfortable, but you get used to it and then it is just like regular acupuncture. Mine was done on my back each time, with needles and current in all of them- from my lower back down my leg. It didn't work for me this time, but I've heard this is a really successful treatment.

Yes, locals go to the beach & pools early. It's funny to me b/c I'm not originally from here (from KS) but I've adapted to it also. I still can't get in the water until mid to late June-- I like it to feel like bath water before I'll get in!!!
Myrtle Beach is great-- DH & I vacation there every summer w/ my family! There is so much to do there. I would stay at North Myrtle Beach, it is a little less crowded and less party-ish....But there is still a ton of places to eat & a ton of stuff to do.
How are things going....I'm behind on here- there were lots of new posts---you started Lupron, right??

I'm so relieved about this Lupron bleed. I thought it was going to be a disaster. It turned out to be light with very minor cramping. Wish that they were all that way. A little nervous about starting stims. Still trying to get used to the Lupron and have been doing those injections for a week and a half already. Hopefully I'll hear good news tomorrow about the state of my ovary. According to my Calendar if everything works out according to plan I should be going in for ER on Cinco de Mayo.

Oh no you guys...I just realized something!! If AF doesn't start until next week I may be in the first part of June before my ET.....I can stil stay here w/ you guys right...? Do you mind?....That kind of bites!! =)

It sounds like a steroid to me. Yup, I just googled it, its a steroid. I take one too after ER.

Kelly- I'm trying to catch up on the posts here-- I did feel a little uncomfortable w/ that amount of follies, but honestly it wasn't bad-- more than anything my stomach just felt pretty bloated. Within a week after stopping the meds I felt better. W/ the Follistim that was the only side effect I noticed was feeling a little bloated, other than that I was fine! =)

Sorry I have MIA the past few days. It is actually Sprin like here in Chicago. I have been to the zoo, park hoping and fishing with my son the past few days.


So sorry about the basement flooding, that is our fear too. DH is about 85% done with our basement. He did most of it himself. We just had carpet put down and bought new furniture for down there. I am not plannign on putting any picutres down there because of my flooding fear. We did have a few foundation cracks but had them repaired. I hope you dont have too much damage.

All this talk about knitting, now I want to do it too!!! LOL

I go for my lining check Friday AM, downtown (fun...not) and then I will get to start PIO and progesterone suppositories this comming Saturday. I will also be starting my antibiotic and steroid. I will stop Lupron on April 30th and I cant wait. That little needle is starting to hurt, I have been on it since April 4th. I think its because I am running out of spots to give it.

i haven't checked in awhile
i stopped BCP on tuesday, i started AF and 300 follistim on saturday, I go thursday for my first follie check, I hate AF, the cramps make me almost non functional and so not nice to be around.

ER should be the 1st for 2nd of may then 5 day transfer then we are off the california on the 10th to see some of sonoma and the ocean then dh has a conference in san fran so lots of relaxing at the bed and breakfast and smelling wine. at least that will be a big part of my 2ww.
