Hi Tracy - thanks for setting this thread up. I hope you feel better soon. Can I join in on this thread? I am stimming (2nd day on stims) and ETA for ER is around 5/2 or 5/3.

I wish everyone lots of , and Stephanie, I'm sure you'll do great at your HSG! It is not fun, but the discomfort part is pretty quick (90 seconds is a great description). One note, if they have any trouble with the catheter and need to use something to stablize the cervix (tennaculum), you can ask for a shot of lidicaine (sp?). Totally numbs so you don't feel the clamp at all. (Makes me wince just saying that). I had no idea you could ask for something like that, but fortunately read it from someone's experience and it made a big difference.

Stephanie-- The HSG isn't too bad. You may have a little discomfort; however its VERY short lived. When I left my RE's office I immediately went & ate a nice dinner w/ DH! Good luck-- I know it will go well!!

Kelly-- I love the kimono! You have a true talent...I need to learn to knit-- it would help me find something to do to help busy my mind!! =)--I will definitely be staying w/ the May ladies-- I'm definitely feeling some major cramps so I think is on her way-- AND yes you have to love the pimples...LOL..It definitely makes you feel oh so attractive...LOL...And good for you to not worry about the basement & let your DH handle it-- I would have done the same thing....

Angie-- Have fun planning your trip! I love to vacation there...I don't know what kinds of things you & your DH like to do, but they have the Carolina Opry (which I loved and I'm not usually into that), tons & tons of shops, great places to eat, etc.... Planning a trip around this time of "waiting" is a great idea!!!

Tracy-- I'm sorry to hear you have been so sick, bless your heart!! Are you feeling any better?

Hello ladies, so I started my follitism yesterday and I got today. I am so confused this is twice in one month which never happens. So I called my RE nurse and she said it was normal. I go back for my second ultra sound on Thursday and hope to start Garnilix on Friday or so. On a good note I was really scared to give myself the shots and luckily I have been able to do it with the numbing cream. Uhhhhh, that is the good stuff. Sending to everyone!!! THIS IS OUR MONTH to finally become .

Ganirelix

Mama2Caden - You are not alone in your ganirelix adventure! I was feeling like you - a little left out with all the lupron excitement being tossed around....girl, you're not alone!

I am sooo relieved - I had a baseline sonogram this morning and they found an 18mm cyst and the nurse told me they'd have to delay my cycle - and then send me to do b/w - and then when I spoke with the nurse this afternoon she said the b/w came back and the cyst was just a little thing sitting there w/no hormones and of no consequence and we're good to go!!! Woo-hoo!! So excited! I was so blue, and now I am back on the wagon! Took my last bcp last night and I start my stims on friday! My nurse is so nice that she's lending me for a few days the fake butt she uses in the injection class for my husband to practice the pio shots on too! Things are looking up!

Go Girls Go! May is the Magic Month!!! A lot of joy is hanging around the corner......I can feel it......

So just wanted to check in with everyone. Looks like we are full steam ahead. This month is going to go by so fast. I saw my RE today and my E2 level was 465, a little on the high side. I have 15 eggies on one side and 10 on the other so I am feeling positive. I just got home from acupuncture and she said my Yin is really low and the meds were burning it up. I am feeling super tired so she could tell from my pulse. Very interesting lol

Maggie34- I am sooooo glad everything worked out for you today! When I started reading your post about the cyst my heart stopped for a minute!

I am starting stims on Friday if AF visits me between now and then. Never thought I would hope for AF.

I will continue to take Lupron at a half dose after I start stims too.

to all of you!

FYI, I had the dreaded clamp for my 2nd HSG and I did not feel a thing(that was the easiest HSG I have ever had, the HSG done by me RE who knew exactly what he was doing). Just thought I would pass that along to you incase you need it and they dont have the lidocaine.

Girls, I'm having one of those pity party days. My brother called me last night and said him and his wife are pregnant again. Although he did say it took them a little longer this time and they were thinking they might have problems but they didn't. I guess they are 12 weeks along. While I'm happy for them, I have that lump in the throat and squeeze in my heart. I just want to cry. It's going to be one of those days. So I just need a little "I know how you feel" pick me ups. I'm tyring not to be bitter or upset, but those thoughts keep creeping in on me a little. I don't want to have those feelings as my IVF is just around the corner and our chance are good. I just need a little "it will be ok, those feelings are normal, you'll get your and all will be right with the world". So if you all tell me it will be ok, maybe I will start to believe it. Thanks so much for the support.

Hope, your feelings are completely normal. We have all felt that way at one point or another. Just think, when you get your , and you have your little bundle of joy, your baby and your brothers baby will be so close in age, they will grow up to be the best of friends.

(((HUGS))) to you.
