Mama2caden,

I k now how you feel. I have 6 wonderful nieces and nephews .. but, I have to say, when my brother and sister complain about the hassle .. I'm not too symphathtic.

However, I know our time will come. I feel that may is the month.

Also, just so you know .. I was on a no Lupron protocal for my first IVF .. and it worked (however, it was Ectopic). I'm on Lupron now and it is a lot more shots.

Take care,

Tara

While I'm happy for them, I have that lump in the throat and squeeze in my heart. I just want to cry. It's going to be one of those days. So I just need a little "I know how you feel" pick me ups. I'm tyring not to be bitter or upset, but those thoughts keep creeping in on me a little. I don't want to have those feelings as my IVF is just around the corner and our chance are good. I just need a little "it will be ok, those feelings are normal, you'll get your and all will be right with the world". So if you all tell me it will be ok, maybe I will start to believe it. Thanks so much for the support.

It will all be ok-- I know those feelings well myself. My Brother & his wife are expecting #2 and they are about 13 weeks along. I've known since for almost 2 months now, & I'm ok with it now (for the most part). Initially, I had the lump in my throat & physically felt ill-- its hard-- it doesn't always make sense going through IF. I know this though- God has a good plan for all of us & YOU will be on the other side of IF with a baby in your arms. Keep your head up-- your blessing is coming. Even through the times like this when another SIL being pregnant makes IF even harder-- remind yourself that it is ok-- Because you will be getting to announce soon you are pregnant. Keep your faith & keep positive thoughts going! I'm sorry today is a rough day-- I feel for you-- Just know we are all here and understand days like you are experiencing today are no fun!!
Brighter & better ones await you though!
sent your way today!

Maggie34-- I'm glad to hear the cyst was nothing to slow down your cycle! That is a frustrating thing...you get through waiting for Af and such, only to be slowed down by a cyst!! This is just a sign of the good waiting around the corner!!
Good luck on your cycle-- can't wait to hear about your !!!

Thanks all for the nice wonderful pick me ups. They really help. I was expecting this as my mother did tell me they were trying. It took the edge off a little knowing they were trying then finding out rather than just finding out. But all in all it's still a little hurtful. I know this will pass and life will go on. Hopefully the rest of the day is better. I do have my 3 year old son and I can't imagine how much worse it would be if I didn't have him. He is my bright shinning star in all of this. Knowing I have him. Thanks again for all the support. HOPE

Mama2Caden-- I hope you feel encouraged, but its ok for you to feel the way you feel today- I think going through IF its hard not to feel that way at times. Just keep yourself thinking positve & knowing soon you will be adding a little brother or sister for your little boy!! =) I hope you have a good day!!

Good morning ladies!

Hope everyone is feeling rested and ready to enjoy a hope-filled day. Let's keep the positive energy bouncing back and forth between us all because now more than ever we need it - and little embies soon too be planted will thank us for it!!!

Stephanie - phew! I feel like I dodged a bullet. I know it would only have been a delay....but at the same time it felt like the rug had been swiped from under me. I'm just so thankful we're still on track! How did your ultrasound go?

Mama2Caden - I'm so sorry. That's hard. I found out a couple of weeks ago that both of my cousins are 12 weeks pregnant, and my uncle (their dad) told my mom that he didn't want to tell me because he didn't want to make me feel bad. I don't know why that irritated me....it just did. I felt like - I'm a big girl, and I don't need my feelings spared - and I don't want to be treated like there's something wrong with me and that I can't be included in the normal joy associated with finding out members of your family are pregnant. But, it's funny that, if I am really honest with myself, the truth is that had they busted out and just told me, I would probably have felt upset and thought -"they clearly don't realize what I'm going through emotionally." Basically, simply be being pregnant, no matter what they did they probably couldn't have won in my book. And that's because what we're going through is just painful and it's hard not to feel sad for yourself, when you hear of yet ANOTHER person getting pregnant naturally and, by all appearances, effortlessly! The pain you feel is normal and to be expected, but it's going to be short lived Hope, because your turn is coming! It's very close ahead!

Karla, Karla, I've been totally pulled into your wait for AF - has she arrived yet? Yes, the excitement is knockin me over today! It's really going to be something to watch people on here become mothers! Wow!

to all, keep the faith and keep dreaming about the GREAT DAY that's on it's way to you!!
Go Girls Go!!

Hi girls,

Thanks for adding me to the stats Tracy!

Mama2Caden - I know how depressing it can be to hear of yet another person pregnant. I can't bear to even look at the tabloids at the checkout any more! My younger sister is again prego after 1 month of trying for her 2nd child. I am sending positive vibes for you to have a great day, and hoping something nice will happen for you to brighten your day.

Maggie - sorry to hear about cyst, but sounds like you are all set! So glad you are able to continue. I am in a similar boat - have a 16mm but b/w seems normal. I wish you all the best!

Giggles - awesome number of eggies! That's amazing!

Karla - thanks for the welcome and everyone else for being so nice on this thread!
Can't wait to see all those soon!!!

It is so normal to feel this way and I completely know how you feel. My BF of 25 years was trying to get preggo. When she did get preggo (after 8 mos.) she told me on the phone and I told her I was so excited and happy for her. While yes I was excited and happy, I was sad for me. When I got off the phone, I cried and cried. It was very hard throughout her pregnancy, one minute I was happy and the next I was sad but I never really let her know how hard it was. I guess what I am trying to say is that it is OK to feel sad for you and be happy for them. It is so normal! It does get better and just try to stay focused on your cycle and !

Maggie34-- LOL...No visit from yet, I feel it coming...My prediction is within the next few days!! I've never been so excited for her to come in my life! LOL.....
Jennifer-- sounds like you have lots of good follies growing...That is so exciting!! Can't wait for your !!!

The one thing I love about this forum is how everyone understands one another when we have a rough day with the day to day life and going through IF. The support I feel and the reminders of the good things ahead really help keep me going. Mama2Caden-- after I posted my comment to you I had talked w/ my brother and they went for an u/s yesterday. He was telling me how the baby was flipping around & waving....Inwardly I started feeling down...so I know its tough-- but I have to believe that will be me-- One day soon I !!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!

Hi ladies, I just got back from my bld work and U/S. the nurse said evrything looked great. I just took my first Lupron shot. It was not all that bad. I also started my baby asprin today. I take the Lupron 10iu and go back next tues for another U/S and bld work so RE can start me on stims if evrything is OK. The nurse also said AF should arrive in 4-5 days. How long does it take after BCP for AF to usually show up? Hope everyone is doing great. I know its hard but we all need to think posative ans know we will all get this month.

It sure has been busy around here. I just got home from my u/s to check on my cysts and had the saline ultrasound. THE CYSTS ARE GONE!!! The saline ultrasound was a breeze. I am so happy to finally be on my way. I have an appointment next Thursday and should be able to start Lupron that evening.

Mama2Caden - I am so sorry that you are having a rough day. I had one of those last week. God has a plan for all of us and soon you will be telling everyone that you are expecting. Keep you head up!
