Yes the 2ww is the worst (fertilization report 2nd) but luckily we have great support here. We'll be waiting and cheering on others so hopefully time will fly. I wish I would've found you guys with my first 2 cycles. This is a Godsend. Work isn't quite the same is it when you have other things on your mind.

Hey there everyone! It seems like there are 75 new messages here everytime I check in! It's a busy place, but that's good because we're a lucky bunch...I can feel it.

Good luck everyone starting shots today ....seems like there are quite a few people here that are starting something new tonight!

Thanks everyone for the replies on my question of doing all my subQ shots in my belly...I think I will try doing some of them in my thigh - it just sounds painful - of course so did the belly.

Hardybaby Tracy!

Angie - That is pretty crazy that you just found out about the endo now. I'm sorry you've been suffering with all those symptoms, but now you know and can treat it if needed after a pregnancy. Did you know they use Lupron to treat endo as well? Pretty cool!

Linz - Tapping since 3 years old? Well, keep it up. I'm sure if your kids like to tap in the future, it will be thanks to you!

KellyKD - I asked my RE's office how long a person generally stims before ER and she told me it's usually 10 days for someone using my protocol. I've seen lots of people on this forum that stim for a lot longer though, I guess it really depends on the person.

Elizabeth - Congats on starting the Lurpon today! Lots of fun, isn't it? Glad your meds made it ok.

Karla - You will have to let us know how you made out with the AP! Did you get stuck today? BTW, that was the cutest story about your neice. She was probably really excited that you had pearls in your belly! Lol. She sounds like a cutie.

Audra - You know, I'm still surprised that the IVF clinics let our DH's give us shots. Can't they see the evil grins in our DH's faces as we hand the needles over? Just kidding, my hubby is great and feels like he should have to do some painful things since so far I'm the only one getting hurt. I have told him that he can have diaper duty though...

Sarah - I really hope you can get things straightened out with your pharm. That was a huge stress for me when I was getting my meds, it is such an ordeal. I hope you can get them in time to start on Sunday! Good luck!

Good night everyone!

Hello, everyone I hope you all had a good day. I go tomorrow for my second ultra sound, wish me luck It is kind of gross because I am still on my period and I am not a fan of someone being down in that direction when I am like this. They say it is okay they do it all the time. I guess this along with the shots and other stuff that we ladies have to go through will ALL be WORTH it in the end. Sending lots of to everyone!!

Audra- I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Karla- I am here! I have been reading, but their are so many posts s/t I can't keep up! I also feel a little behind everyone like you. My ER/ET will be in early june but I am learning lots hearing everyone's stories/experiences. I loved your story about your neice!! No AF for you yet? I just got mine today, finally!!!

I start AP on friday. I am a little nervous, but have heard the increased pregnancy rate w/ if is really significant.

Oh, the agony!

AF came two days ago, and I went in for my baseline u/s and 1st bloodwork today.

U/S was fine, and I came home in a great mood, excited to finally be starting the process.

Then, clinic left me a message indicating they needed to speak with me about my cycle. Turns out, my FSH level today was 14.6.

I was completely shocked. 11 months ago, at my first clinic, I was at 8. Has anyone else here gone through such a radical change?

I had to wait until the end of the day to talk to the RE, fighting back tears. He did a good job of reassuring me and wants to go ahead. He says 1) that we should proceed as no one's eggs improve with age; 2) it is a good thing I am doing IVF, and 3) that it only changes my success stats by 6%. I am trying really hard to believe him. I guess this is the rollercoaster of IVF.

I am sorry you are so worried with the FSH level. But it does sound like your RE has a positive outlook and so should you!! It is going to be our turn!! Also, it seems like many women have posted about a high FSH and still were able to get !!

That would be quite a shock! Are they absolutely sure the lab was right? Maybe they could rerun the test just to make sure? Sounds like the RE has a nice plan laid out already though and that is reassuring. You've had quite a day. Keep your positive attitude and you will get your !

Also, does anyone know how long after your start stimming is the ER? I am just curious. I am in college and I have finals in 2 weeks. I am lucky I have 2 professors who will work with me and one who actually asked if I could move the date. Can you believe it... I wait 9yrs for this and I told her this a couple weeks ago and she has the oddasitiy to ask me to hold off my life time dream, some people I tell ya!
Talk to you all tomorrow have a good day and sending lots of and to everyone!! I think we all need it.

Hi Kelly,

I used Lidocaine for 3 cycles. I loved it. Last cycle I just iced before each shot and really found it was better. With the Lidocaine you have to leave it on for almost an hour covered with something sealable. DH would cut squares out of ziploc bags and tape them over the cream. With ice it takes about 3 min to be completely numb and you don't feel the shot at all. I found that with the Lidocaine, there were times that I left the cream on for the alotted time and it still wouldn't numb all the way. It ended up being more of a hassle and the ice took a lot less time. Anyway, I would try both and see which works better for you. I know how you feel, I could never, even after 4 cycles, handle a shot not using something to numb the area. I don't know how you gals do it without any numbing agent
