Good morning ladies!

OK, so I called my Target pharm to see if you can get Lidocaine cream/gel over-the-counter...but no go. That is by prescription only (I sorta thought it would be, but you never know). The only thing they had over-the-counter that numbed was the Ambesol products or Solarcaine, evidentally benzocaine products can be sold OTC. So I guess if we want to try the Lidocaine, it would have to be prescription. Heck, we're already spending through the nose for meds, what's one more??? Ok, maybe I'll just stick with ice.

KellyKD - How did the u/s go today? I hope it was good and that you're on your way to a perfect cycle!

Jen12/Stephanie - Way to go on the stims tomorrow! I'm starting mine tonight, so we'll be right together!

Jennifer - Wow, I can't believe you're so close to ER! You're going to be the first in this group, I think, so we'll all be waiting with bated breath to hear how it goes. I'm so glad that your ovary is in the correct position for ER now, your previous ER sounds a little scary to me! How are you feeling with all those follies in there? That's good that you got your Medrol. My clinic gave that rx to me with all the others in the beginning.

Migmel - With your history of endo, I bet your cramps are truly horrible! I hope this is short and sweet for you. What do you take for the cramps?

Karla - I agree! The HCG shots for me are the worst so far! Of course, I haven't done the PIO shots yet, so they may take the cake. What is with being late for you? You aren't are you? Crazier things have happened! BTW, when is your birthday?

Linz - That was so funny about your delivery man arriving in a decrepit old van, practically lost. Was he a toothless wonder as well? You don't live in the boonies, do you? I'm just glad he made it...with your meds. You should send Caremark and FedEx a picture of this guy's vehicle. He might need a raise! That is so cool that you got a sharps...I even asked my pharm and they wouldn't give me one! Lucky duck.

Have a great day everyone!

I guess he couldn't take the ultra healthy meals we have been having lately anymore either.

I got thru my lupron shot last night. My husband commended me on it only taking me 10 minutes to talk myself into the shot vs half an hour like last time. I then came at him with the needle. I got really dizzy with the dexamethsone so I'm glad I took it at night.

It's almost the weekend!

I say enjoy the ice cream! We are shooting up hormones with needles...what better excuse? In fact, I'm going to see if I have some ice cream in my freezer right now...

Yea sometimes they don't want to cooperate. I am sure it will move around but just know that if it doesn't, your RE should be able to retrieve some eggies. Some are better than none I guess. Will keep my for you!!

We ordered Lidocaine cream from our pharmacy that is over the counter. It is called LMX 4% or 5% cream. I've used it for my 2nd cycle shots (PIO). It is a small tube but I let it sit on for about an hour. It lasted the 2 weeks.

Yeah I really loved it! I have been an assistant since I was 18! DH and I had worked part time for a local sports/schoo/event photographer, and had the opportunity to buy his franchise last year- so we did! I quit assisting last April, and have run our business full time since then. I still sub and help put once in a while. I miss assisting and the whole "office" feel- but love what I'm doing now, that I'm my own boss, and that I work in my PJ's til noon most days! We had been pretty slow- but now soccer, baseball & May IVF season is coming up- so it'll be nuts! But at least it's flexible! I'm sure we'll be out taking all of the new little baseball stars from the May thread in a few years! Love the 3-4 year old t-ballers- too cute!

What do you do? Or for that matter, what does everyone sle do? A little way to get to know each other!?!

Just an update on me. Saw my RE today and my left ovary has moved to the right spot. It normally hangs out behind my uterus. Most cycles it has moved into the right spot for the ER but last cycle it stayed behind and RE had to go through my uterus (ugghh it was a horrible recovery) to retrieve and still couldn't retrieve all the eggs! Anyway, it moved into the right spot, yay! My E2 was 1533, still around 25 Follies and I start Ganirelix tonight. I go back tomorrow for bloodwork and another U/S and B/W appointment Friday. I will know more Friday if my ER is moved up to Sunday instead of Monday. Will let you all know!

AWESOME NUMBERS!!!

When I got it for our first cycle, it was by prescription but when I got to my second cycle, I was told you can get Lidocaine over the counter. I always had a prescription for it so I am not sure if it is true but supposedly you should be able to get it without a prescription.
