Jennifer- did you use ice on the prog. shot to? I actualy thought about switching to ice but I haven't done it yet. And CONGRATS on your ER keep us updated.

By the way I wasn't hungry until I got on here and everyone was talking about ice cream. YUM!! my favorite is peppermint.

I can't say that the cravings are a side effect of the meds, but I now definetly say that the conversations on this site can cause cravings.

I actually can't wait for cravings. My mom always tells a story of when she was PG with me. It was in the middle of a snow storm in Colorado and she sent my dad out for a banana split. It took him two hours to bring it back.

I imagine I will be sending DH out for Mexican.

My favorite ice cream is chocolate. The talk about ice cream made me hungry too.

I stay at home with the 2 lights of my life Before I stayed at home I was a psychological counselor (masters not Ph.D.).

Stephanie GL with the HSG tomorrow!!

tfitz - insurance issues can be so frustrating!! GL sorting it out and keep us posted.

girlmech I haven't had any shots yet given by dh but I don't think it's going to be pretty. Sunday is the injections class. Does anyone know if they make him stick you with the needle during the class?

pray2bmom so glad the meds issues worked out. Hopefully you aren't waiting too long tomorrow.

What is a trial transfer? (maybe this is not the right term - tried to find where this was mentioned in the thread but couldn't)

Hey Kelly,

Yes I use ice on any of my shots. I am just a big baby when it comes to them. It really works nicely, just hurts when you first start to ice. I wrap the ice pack with a napkin for about 1 min, then apply directly to the skin. You won't feel a thing!

So since everyone is answering, my favorite ice cream is probably chocolate brownie. Yummy!!!!

Good morning girls!

This thread is really busy, miss one night and it takes a really long time to catch up!!!

hopefulmama - a trial (or mock) transfer is a trial run of the egg transfer. They go in with the catheter to make sure that there are no suprises on egg transfer day. I had one done and it didn't hurt at all.

stephanie - good luck with your HSG. Don't be worried. If your tubes are clear it won't hurt. Either way it's over really fast.

natenang654 - Good luck with your lupron today. The shot is not painful at all and the good news is that you are on your way!!

josephine - Thanks for keeping up with all of us! How are your Lupron shots going? I'm feeling so nauseous this morning that I couldn't eat breakfast. It's going to make for a long friday.

Jennifer - good luck with your ER this weekend! We'll be praying for lots of eggies. Let us know how it goes.

vinjosmom - How are you doing with the Lupron shots? I just keep telling myself that it's only 1 more week and then we start stimming. It's almost here!!!!

To all the girls that are stimming - hope everything is going well. Let's start May with lots of !

Hope everyone has a Happy Friday!!

Morning-- everyone! Friday finally made it! Whoo-hoo!

Stephanie-- Good luck today w/ your HSG! Mine wasn't too bad--- I know everything will go well!!!

Jennifer (Giggles) Good luck today at your appointment!! It's exciting that you are the first one from our group to go for retrieval!! Keep us posted on the date!! Sending positive thoughts your way girl!!

KellyKD- Glad everything went well at the doctor yesterday!! Sounds like you are on your way to getting your this month!!!!

Kelly (Shasta)- I'm getting a little annoyed waiting on (no surprise right?) I'm typically not very regular though so its no surprise really. Last month I was a week late.....I can usually tell when she's coming b/c my stomach will get kind of crampy, etc. I started out having those symptoms early in the week- but they have lessened a bit so I'm hoping she isn't trying to mess w/ me. The one time I couldn't be more ready for her to show! As far as being ....ANYTHING is possible, but I highly doubt it. We can always wish though....LOL
How was your first night of follistim...? So you may potentially going in for ER next week...?? Right?

Ok just wanted to say thanks to everyone talking about ice cream yesterday -- I was trying to be good about what I was eating & yesterday I had to go buy an ice cream, sandwich!...LOL

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Happy Friday everyone!!

Well I just got home from my appointment to check lining. My lining is at 12 (they like to see it at 6 but less than 20) so that is good. I will get a call from nurse later with blood results but we are pretty sure its a go for May 1st. I get to start PIO tomorrow. I am a little worried now because when we got home and I went to the bathroom, I had a fair amount of blood. I am hoping it was just from the u/s maybe my cervix is a little more sensitive due to the estrace tablets. I will monitor the situation and let nurse know when she calls.
Congrats to all who are starting their stims, time is going ot fly now!!! Well at least till we get to the 2WW.

Karla - I agree! The HCG shots for me are the worst so far! Of course, I haven't done the PIO shots yet, so they may take the cake. What is with being late for you? You aren't are you? Crazier things have happened! BTW, when is your birthday?

I forgot you asked about my b-d...its next Sunday-- the 4th!...=)

ARghhhhh still no !!! When I'm waking up in the morning it feels like I'm going to start any second...cramping really bad..etc. Then once I'm up and moving around, my body and mind shut down that process and the cramps go away..etc. I know I'm stressing myself out, how long can this go on LOL I need to start those BCP's before too much longer or I'll go crazy LOL Today is CD31, normally my cycles go anywhere from 26 days to 33...so a few more days and I'll break my own record

Oh and for the record...any icecream (except banana) is GOOD!!! LOL We have so many icecream places here that it's turned in to my weakness. If I had a lifetime supply of icecream though, and could only pick one flavor...it would be Mint Chocolate Chip for sure!
