Menopur

Vinjosmom-Menopur frequently stings for me as it's injected. Is that the kind of pain you mean?

I think it's quite common to have black and blue marks on your tummy from the shots.

Smile Wow!

Okay CORM is going to be really busy on Monday!!

We are having our ET!

We had our ER on April 30 and I know that there were 6 others that had theres done too!

If we all are doing 5 day transfers - wow!

Plus all of the ERs!

Heather - I hope to see you there again!

I am not sure when it will be.

This morning they said that they would call either today or tomorrow, to tell me when it would be!

Kelly - good luck with your upcoming 'cinco de mayo' retrieval! I will pray that your e2 levels come down so that you can go straight thru with ET.

The nurse and doctor were really clear that I may have to cancel the cycle after ER due to the risk of OHSS since I have so many follicles (they stopped counting/measuring at 20), and do a FET in their June/July uptime to let my ovaries calm down. When I got home they called with my E2 - 4091...which is really high and puts me at an even higher risk of OHSS. So, while I'm really happy that they'll probably get a lot of eggs, I'm also worried that we won't be able to do a ET this time. Trigger tonight at 1100 pm! Wish me luck! Thanks for asking too, BTW.

When I was working in the office, we used to give our patients Provera and always told them that day 1 was when they started bleeding after they finished the meds. Every doctor is different though, maybe you'll want to clarify! Shoot, I was hoping you'd have gotten AF on your own by now. Bummer! You'll get over this hurdle very soon...

Have a super weekend!

Okay Ladies,
I just started stims today. The Menopur went fine this morning but tonight the big dose of Follistim was different than any other injections. This dose is more than double the amount I was using for my first IVF. The injection didn't hurt, but I could feel the medication spreading under the skin and it burns. Has anyone else experienced this?

It did sting but then it felt like someone had kicked me and I felt a lot of pressure on my stomach and chest. It went away since then. Maybe I'm just being a baby but I think I will ask my nurse about it.

Tracy, Some nights I have had a burning feeling with my dose of follistim and repronex (250/150) It doesn't happen every night.
Congratulations on starting stims! Your bfp will be soon!
